    royal vegas spam

ive been receiving several emails from royal vegas (MG) ok the odd promo email is ok since i have an account with them but at the bottom of the email it says,

This communication was brought to you by a third party and not by Royal Vegas as advertised. Your privacy is extremely important to us and we adhere to a strict mail policy. If you feel you got this communication by mistake, or if you wish to alter your mail status,
so if rv isnt sending them who is and how did they get my name and account number
    I gave up gambling,
Now all i ever do is make mind bets,
You never bet any real money you only bet in your mind.
The results are fairly good, ive only lost my mind 5 times so far this month

More intresting is how do you ask this "third party", since they give no name or contact details.
Perhaps RV passed your details to this third party for mass mailings. If your account number is quoted, then this is a genuine offer based on your account, rather than general spam.
When casinos had the whole of the USA and Canada, they had tens of thousands of players, and had to contract out such mass mailings. Fortune Lounge use the same company as Jackpot Factory. They are based in Belize, and only a few numbers up from a SPAMMING company. In the ones I got, they called themselves "Square-It".

    Hi Zebedy,

Can you tell if it's from an affiliate? If you get the tag to the casino from the mail they should be able to find out if it came from an affiliate, which affiliate, and hopefully put a stop to it.

Man I could write a book on devious FL spam. Oh! I DID write a book about em! Almost: http://www.casinomeister.com/forums/...tml#post263446

Since opening a Gmail email account a year ago I can honestly say that my Inbox can still be viewed on one page. Not one spammy mammy in it - ever! Honest to golly anti-spam kings! I have re- configured it for IMAP for my new Vista Premier 64 bit OS (my ol board fried wotwuzzIgonna do?) and am going thru the process of mentally preparing myself to, some day, psyche myself up to get ready to lay the ground work for what might be, eventually, if this global warming thing is ever looking like it might be properly addressed, an outline for a plan of attack for making Gmail my - what's the topic again?

I get pissed off when the spammers use my name. Sometimes Ive even had accounts opened for me. The spam defo originates via poker/casino sites be it directly or staff abusing personal info. That stuff bothers me because I know my details are not as secure as they should be. The general spam can be annoying but doesnt bother me as much
