Hiya: I just looked at the local phone book, and there are 6 people namesd, "Michael Jackson" here in Vegas. Now, multiple that by each major city, and you have literally Thousands of people in America with that name. If the famous person did not register the domain name, then it is up for grabs. If the Casino owner has the Same Name, and not using any Images, or copyright protected stuff of the famous jackson family, it is also OK.

I mean, how many people in the world have the nic name, "Pac Man"? How many resturant owners in the world are owned by the family named, "McDonald"? and so on....................

If Not, If they actually intnd to use his image, and so on, then the casino owner is an Idiot!

The copyrighted images are at the centre of the dispute, and the legal eagles are initially going after Godaddy in the hope of getting it to reveal the identity of the domain owner - Godaddy has already said that although it will vigorously defend itself, its policy is to comply with legitimate court orders......
