    Gambling Wages/APCW

Just a curiosity question for those involved in the Gambling Wages Challenge at APCW - have you heard anything?

I post several weeks ago over there asking about progress and so far nothing in the way of a reply.

I know it has nothing to do with CM but some of the interested parties are posters here.

Thumbs down APCW & GW - ALL past issues resolved?

Come on, already. This is ridiculous.

I couldn't stomach most of the BS around the middle, where they start saying that all past issues have been resolved.

Or the part that they say that they've paid out $10,000 to resolve all of these issues. I know of at least one case (acepedro) from here at CM, where they stiffed him on over $50K. There's no telling how many hundreds of thousands of dollars they've stiffed other players for.

Is it time to wipe the slate clean, as they suggest? I think not.

side note: Hmmm, why are comments moderated for this youtube video? I guess they don't want people to post anything that might be anti-GW?

Operators: If you don't know what Transparency means, then here you go.....now how about practicing it?

Transparency, as used in the humanities and in a social context more generally, implies openness, communication, and accountability. It is a metaphorical extension of the meaning a "transparent" object is one that can be seen through. ...

I think if I'm not mistaken it's something like $262,500.20 that Coolcat still owes him...they didn't even bother to mention that one though...you can read J. Todds full report HERE on how they paid out the 10K to players...

Gawd, can't that sleeping dog issue just go away...this has been hashed and rehashed over and over again...no reason to start flaming another forum member over it...Laurie stated what happened and told the truth about it and tried to help you by mentioning the fact that you didn't get paid...and she also tried to help get you paid and even Bryan asked him about it too...can you not just be a little appreciative....jeeze..

Joz, JMO no one is happy about any of this. The players involved, the members who read about it, CM who provides this forum so we can have a place to meaningfully explore it...............it goes on and on. JMO, you were robbed of a legitimate win and I, like you, would be pissed as hell about it!

So now comes my "California hippie be cool part" which is: Joz, you know there are no mistakes that don't get fixed, eventually. Karma takes care of that. Maybe it has recently balanced your books, so to speak, so no need to have any ill feelings for anyone?
