Post Announcing the Launch of Wizard Gaming - A new software provider!

We are proud to announce that after two years of development and a large development budget Wizard Gaming's new online casino software has now gone live.

You can see more about us on our website at:

    http://www.wizardgaming.com

    Our first live operator is:

    Gold Rock Casino
    http://www.goldrockcasino.com

We have chosen to focus on slots initially. We felt this was the area where we could add the most to what is already available to players. Table games will follow later this Fall.

A lot of resources have been devoted to each slot game and we hope that you, the player, will enjoy our slots!

If you have any feedback or suggestions for us please let us know!

Getting feedback from our players is important to us and we will use it to make our software better.

Making our games entertaining for our players and otherwise delivering what our players and operators want is a priority for us.

We know trust is important from the players that use our software. So we have taken these steps to hopefully earn this trust:

    - Our operators will be licensed in Netherlands Antilles

    - Our RNG has been independently tested by iTech Labs. You can see our testing certificate here:

    http://www.itechlabs.com.au/certific...ate_270907.pdf

The principals of our company have been in igaming for many years. I've asked Dominique to post a reference for us on the board so you can know that we are trustworthy.

Interesting. I will check it out and then post my oppinion.

I do not understand the T&C regarding the bonus system.

Lets say you deposit 50$ and get 50$ bonus. You then play and lose until you are you only have 50$ left which is the bonus money.
If you win when playing with the bonus credits all winnings will also be credited as bonus credits. This way you will never be able to win any non-bonus money... Is this correct? (Let me just say I do not hope this is true...). Is there missing information that if bonus credited exceeds the remaining wagering requirement bonus, then it will be credited to the cast balance?

I also have a few questions about the video-slots (5 reel slots).

Are the reels unweighted and not correlated?

Ie. reel 1 can have up to lets say 30 positions (some symbols appear multiple times) and each position is equally likely?
Same goes for reel2-reel5 though they do not all need to have same number of symbols as reel 1.

On your bonus question, in that scenario, as you keep wagering, money will be transfered from bonus to cash (in $5 segments, subject to the bonus' playthrough requirements). So, you will definitely be able to convert your bonus winnings to cash.

On your reel question, that description is correct. Our video and classic slots are modelled after real slot machines and behave similarily.

Classic and video slots do not behave similary.. Classic 3 reels slot are weighted while video slots are not. And this was actually why video-slots was made. To simulate a long reel unweighted reel.

The policy we have come up with is to let our operators determine where they may legally accept players from. So I would suggest you contact Gold Rock to see if you can play there.

You are correct in that Zoozie. Yes, our video slots are unweighted and not correlated.

    Sorry for any confusion.

Looked at the website. Doesn't even say US OK. Limited deposit options - Visa, Neteller, Ewalletexpress and something else but can't remeber. Limited withdrawals options - check, Neteller, Ewalletexpress and wire transfer.

    Not good for me.

Review of Wizard Gaming casino software

Well, here is my first impression of the casino. I always find it interesting when I try new casino software for the first time.

    Lobby options:
This works very well. It does reminds me a little of MG though because of the left menu and swapping game-image on mouseover. The games are easy to find. The playcheck/game history is very nice and detailed. But the casino needs more deposit options, but this will come eventually I guess. Only accepting Master/visa/Ipoint deposit is a little limited. Live chat responded within 10 seconds.

    Video-slots:
I played every video slot except a very few and I managed to hit all pick and freespins features on every videoslots that had this.

First the good stuff. The themes are very good, varied and original. The symbol-graphics and slot-GUI is acceptable. The sound-effects/music
is mostly acceptable. I really liked the "Lizard Lounge" music.

But the spinning motion of the reels does need improvement. It just looks like every reel is scrolling down excactly 4 positions on every spin. This does not give the true impression of a video-slot with long reels. You should be able to see the symbols of the reel when they are spinning. Also the timing when they stop is exactly the same. A little variation would be appricated and would also make it more realistic.

Now for the bad news. Every single video slot is what 'we' (The Casino Meister slot-nerds community) describe as ultra low variance slots. Low variance slots do not offer much surprise and players soon realize they are not able to hit any really good wins on that slot. There is no wild-multiplier
and also no freespin multiplier. I have attached a screenshot of a simple slot(no features). As you can see there is really nothing interesting you can hit. 5 scatters is 100*bet-size is the best you can hope for. 5 wilds is only 2500 coins. But luckily it should be very easy to change this. Just change the reels and paytable of the slot. Rival Software made exactly the same mistake when they opened and indeed they did change the slot quickly when they heard the player responses. Luckily it should be very simple to change this. Just redefine the reels/paytable to make they high variance.

Also with no multipliers the slots are a little dull. Wild-multiplier and freespin multiplier does make the slots more fun. Every single freespin feature has no multiplier besides they only seem to give between 2 and 10 freespins. This is not exciting at all. I do know that to change this you have to make the feature much harder to hit. Normal video-slot parameters are 1/100 to 1/200 for hitting a feature each spin. This way the features can be more generous also.

All non-freespins feature are also the same on all slots. It is just a picking feature where each pick reveals a small price and you can pick until you hit the wrong one. I think you need slots with some more advanced slot features, like expanding wilds etc.. The themes are good but behind the themes the video slots are just combinations of 0,1 or 2 features where the features are always 2 to 10 freespins (no multiplier) or the same picking bonus game.

I know this sounds a little harsh, but remember this is extremely easy to change. This is basically just configuration where you have to change
a very few numbers behind the scene and nothing generally in the software(codebase).

If you want a more detailed description on some of my points, you can just PM me and I will be happy to talk to you.
