    MALTA LICENSE FOR INSIDE GAMING

Firm celebrates new license and PCI compliance

The UK online gambling management company Inside Gaming has been authorised by the Lotteries and Gaming Authority of Malta to offer remote gaming services, IG director Richard Hogg announced this week.

The company has double cause to celebrate, having also been audited to ensure PCI (Payment Card Industry) compliance.

Commenting on the dual achievement, Hogg said: "We are extremely pleased to offer our clients licensing in a jurisdiction suitable for the UK. In taking security very seriously, gaining PCI compliance sustains our ambition to provide our clients with safe and secure gaming solutions."

The company has a full schedule of conference and exhibition appearances planned this year to underline its activities as a fully managed online gaming service that includes development and management of online gaming products for the online and mobile casino, poker and bingo sectors, full guidance and support for promotion and marketing, and consultancy services.

I've noticed a number of casinos bailing out of the Caribbean and Kahnawake and heading over to Malta. The Spin Palace group and the Partnerlogic properties switched just recently.

The US debacle and the UK's advertising white list have both played a role in spurring companies to find recognised jurisdictions in the EEA, imo.

Definately so. The Kahnawakes must be cringing their teeth at the moment. I wonder how many more are planning to bail.

I'll bet Malta's booth will be quite busy at the EIG. Should be able to get some good scoops there.
