    Cost the membership

    Hi all members.

I have acutally experienced that I really had winning streak at Club World last year. And I continued to win, despite that
I had pending withdrawals. I won on every slot I played at during two weeks.
And I did not feel that somebody pushed any "bad luck button".
But my winning streak cost me the membership though..

    Regards

    L'arsenne

Anyway ...on the subject of this thread....
We can piss and moan, we can each have our own opinion, losers can scream foul, winners can scream BS, shills, and others with varying interests, can continue to try and convince everyone, that everything is just dandy.
Bottom line is, that we just don't have a clue. We just need to accept that fact, and either play to have a bit of fun, or get the f?ck out, and not play.
Playing to try and make an income, is at best stupid, at worst deeply retarded, and deadly, whether anyone is cheating or not.
The discussion will lead absolutely nowhere, EVER, as long as we don't have access to the backroom.
fwiw I don't believe ALL casinos cheat, but there is NO doubt in my mind, that some do, so I don't play in those....except for one, just to be able to piss and moan with everyone else ...lol

I have no objection to players moaning about their luck or their recent poor payouts. Not at all. It's totally normal and acceptable when it comes to gambling.

The problem I have is when moaning turns into accusations of cheating and dishonesty against casinos, especially specific casinos and accredited casinos where absolutely no supporting evidence exists. The vast majority of members who cross this line are those who cannot accept that gambling involves losses, which far outweigh wins, or those who have lost more than they wanted to or could afford. None of the above is an excuse to sling mud at a respectable operation.

Any member who has the slightest inkling that they might be getting fleeced/cheated, and continues to play, has a serious gambling problem. It's the only logical explanation for continuing to patronise a business that is ripping you off.

I do not agree with nobody "having a clue". It's true that we don't have access to all the backend stuff of online casinos, but that doesn't mean there's anything dodgy going on...and yes it doesn't mean there ISN'T something dodgy going on either....so in fact the whole backend thing is irrelevant because we'll never see it. Mind you, try asking at your local land casino if you can have a look around all their restricted areas and see how far you get.

The other problem is with the moaners is that there are often aspects of their gambling habits that make it more likely for them to lose, but its far easier to blame the casino isn't it? When mentioning these aspects we often get a hostile response and the "shill" etc comments come out, but the truth is that many members post things about how they play that make me think "well I'm not surprised you're having trouble winning" but I just let it go these days as I've given up beating dead horses.

If one wants to move on from the p*ss and moan brigade, which must be a total downer, one must educate themselves about their gambling and understand that well-run casinos don't need to cheat to wring every last penny from your person.

What we have to take into consideration is when we are lucky enough to get a good cashout, the likelihood of getting another in the same casino directly after has just risen considerably, (remember how many deposits this took), so the natural course of thinking is the casino has now closed shop on me, but, and i`ve experienced this at every casino I regularly play at - consecutive withdrawals happen also (that`s the randomness of gambling for you).
Dip me in chocolate, and throw me to the lesbians.

Could you please post the spreadsheet/data for us to see for ourselves? If you start losing each time you have a large cashout pending that is certainly worth investigating.

I was thinking for a moment that possibly the fact that you just made a large cashout I.e. hit some big wins, that maybe variance was catching up with you....after all, you can't win all the time and one might expect the game to have periods where it takes rather than gives. If you do think.something "changes" after making a cashout, and you obviously do, then you can beat them at their own game by not continuing to play after withdrawing. Simple. In this way, you would be guaranteed to have a better chance by waiting for the cashout to process and then come back and try again.

I'm also thinking it might be a perception thing I.e. where players only complain about unusual bad luck instead of good luck. I mean, one would need better than average luck to generate a large cashout in the first place right? Maybe there is just as much basis for complaint when hitting a feature every 20 spins and racking up nice wins as there is when hitting a feature every 600 spins and winning nothing? Certainly, they are both at the same (but opposite) extremes of the pendulum. Yet, one is perfectly acceptable and one is not. Sad thing is, you can't have one without the other.

Still, these thoughts could all be blown out of the water when we see how this "lose switch" works after cashing out at club world.
Just to be clear, I'm of the opinion that the luck draining from my body when I have a pending cashout is most likely me and not the casino. In fact, it would be an interesting report to see how my betting patterns may change when I've got winnings stacked up in reversible status. My comment about "looking at you club world" was more tongue and cheek than actually making a formal accusation.

I really have no gripes with Club World or RTG. If I were to complain it's not about gameplay, odds, or variety. It's the near complete unresponsiveness of their cashier group. That is the worst part about the CWC casinos in my humble opinion. I typically don't start emailing or making phone calls until a week has passed and no activity is seen in my withdrawl processing. It seems that every time I have to complain to someone just to get a withdrawl processed.

I reckon liquidity must be a lot lower in the last year on Microgaming casinos, I haven't won a bean in the last year. Shame because I enjoy the games but there comes a point when pissing money away loses it's entertainment value. My guess is that people are gambling less which means there's less to go round. For years I found that I'd have some winning streaks and losing streaks on MG but lately it's all gone one way so I've uninstalled.

Did you read Nifty's post a little bit above yours?

What you are saying is that because the casinos are seeing less action, they "rig" their games to pay out less.
If that's what you really think, then giving up playing online casinos is your best option, I agree.

I don't think casinos necessarily rig their games, I can only use my experience to gauge whether it's worth playing them. Having said that, if online casinos see their turnover drop by 50% or whatever the possibility of the odds being tweaked to keep their profit margin exists because it would be so easy to do. Not all of us have affiliate income and casino freebies to indulge our vice with KK.
