Slots Oasis - Requests to close account completely ignored

So a few days ago I requested that this casino close my account. Today to verify that it was closed I logged in and was successful.

I received absolutely zero correspondence or request for further information and my account has NOT been closed. Not cool!
Have you got another plot of land I can buy? This one doesn't have near enough fertilizer.

When they do reply to you, be prepared for them to ask for either your password, or the first and last letters of it (or something like that, lol)...to be sent via email. They say they can't close an account without this "verification" procedure.

This casino doesn't deserve to have players. Good to see so many closing their accounts with this group. Glad they are off the accredited list.

I'm planning a PAB on their asking me extremely private information, no one gets a piece of my password, no one!

To be honest, RTG has to be one of the worst online operations when it comes to their security protocols. For one, it's totally insecure for ANYONE to have access to your password. If you forget your password, then fine. Contact the casino and have them reset it for you. What happens when someone hacks in and steals everyone's password? These passwords have to be stored somewhere for them to have access to it, and of course it's going to be in a database, as I'm sure that the casinos don't have a hard copy file for every one of their players...lol

And also, it seems that every CS rep at each respective RTG casino has access to your password. Does anyone else think this is a clusterf**k just waiting to happen?

If you'll also remember, I think it was at least 2 years ago, on certain RTG sites you could log in to your account via a website for comps or to claim a bonus or whatever; I forget. Well, these sites were NOT secure. They used the unencrypted http:// protocol instead of using https://. Basically, both your username and password were sent out over the Internet unencrypted, for anyone to hijack.

But, hey, did RTG fix this right away? Nope. It took them forever to even acknowledge that there was a problem with the setup they had.
Operators: If you don't know what Transparency means, then here you go.....now how about practicing it?

Transparency, as used in the humanities and in a social context more generally, implies openness, communication, and accountability. It is a metaphorical extension of the meaning a "transparent" object is one that can be seen through. ...
