Thumbs down Jackpot Capital buying personal info

Today I received a mailer with a CD and a free 50ND bonus. I would like to know where they get their info from. Obviously they are getting personal details from somewhere.

Can't seem to find the finger smiley, so this will have to do.

Could be a number of things. Were you a member of Intertops? Or it could be from an affiliate (affiliates send oodles of mailers). The best way to deal with these things is to do it preemptively. Like sign up at each casino with a different email address - for instance Dangerous53_intertops@hotmail.com etc.

That way you know who is responsible when the spam starts coming in.

I did try out Intertops, yes. I don't think they should be sharing info between sites. To me, sites that have to send out spam and mailers aren't worth visiting, I never respond to them. As to the affiliate thing, where do they get their info? This was addressed to me personally.

With the exception of a few, I'm starting to view the whole Igaming thing as shady and untrustworthy.

Jackpot Capital and Intertops have a marketing relationship. That's why you received the mailer.

As for affiliate stuff, they may have purchased a list from somewhere with your personal info, or perhaps you signed up at one of their sites and they used this information. For instance, if you sign up for our newsletter, I receive your first last name and mailing address. Thus I could begin sending you CDs in the mail every couple of days or so

But I don't - never have. I've only used my list to send out Christmas cards every now or then.
