Have to say I agree with OP.
It IS unacceptable, and eventhough more and more outfits ask for documents, does not make it acceptable.
It has absolutely NOTHING to do with "security" in any way, shape or form, when deposits are made with an e-wallet, and cashout is requested to the same one, but has everything to do with stalling payments, and nothing else.
Some even ask for the "form", that is supposed to be for creditcard verification ....even if you don't own, or use a creditcard, they ask for the "form" to be filled out .....with WHAT I ask ?...your name ?
Apparently there's no end to the BS they can get away with, to not pay players in a "timely manner", whatever that means....to me it means now, or at most within 24 hours, since they don't have to send a guy on foot, to deliver anything in a different country.

Now, let us separate two things now. The question if verification is a legitimate thing or not should be discussed elsewhere. It has nothing to do with the topic if Europa casino is good or bad. Do we have a conclusion on that separate matter? I mean about the rightfulness of verification? No. So until then every effort is baseless to blame Europa for this. Asking for verification is general, even in some accredited casinos, like Grande Vegas. Only for this single reason you shouldn't blame Europa for this matter. If Casinomeister allow a casino in the accredited list that requires verification like Grande, you shold stand still. My expreience is that here at Casinomeister it is general thing to refer to practices and rules. So based on this you shouldn't blame Europa. Grande Vegas does verification, it is accredited, so why worrying about it? Anyway, you may worry. You may say it is stupid thing. But then, first discuss it separately.

Anyway, at Casinomesier I also experienced it is general to stick to casino terms. Based on this fatct it is useleless again to blame Europa. They declare in the rules that they ask for ID. So... I don't see any point for blaming. Okay, it may be unpleasant to request for verification. But before we blame any casino for this general practice, please let us make a conclusion about this single verification topic first. Until then the only thing I can comment on this is that it is included in the terms of Europa, so if you read it, you won't be disappointed.

The question if verification is good or bad has nothing to do with Europa itself so far.

With this opinion I don't agree. And now I am not thinking with the head of casinos when I say this. Should it be a trick of casinos to delay the payment more and more, or just really a security issue, I am glad it is not required when depositing. I hope casinos will never ask for ID check before depositing. Did you think it over what you exaclty asked for in your comment? When I feel the thrill of playing, and find a new casino, I don't want to bother with such verifications. I would be very angry in case I should bother with such papers when my only desire is to play play play!!! So it would be a very bad custom from casinos to do that. One casino that does this is Boyle's casino, and also Skyvegas. When I wanted to deposit and they notified me about that I have to send in docs right after I registered to verify my ID, I became so disappointed because of that instead of going to play and feel the thrill I have to take my scanner, scan, send in docs and wait several days until a reply cames about that I can play. I never returned to those places again. When I deposit I want to play and not do secretarian's job. That can wait until I win and enjoy the feeling. Then I very gladly do that job. before that no. So it would be a crazy idea what you ask for....

anyone that has read this is now stupider.this is one of the most retarded arguement ive ever seen.this casino delays paments so people like you cancel withdraws and continue to play thus never cashing out. if they want me to send documents these documents should be required before depositing. this is unacceptable and this site will never get another cent from so its their loss in the long run.

I played in several casinos of that group and quit them mostly because of the 4 business day pending time. But to be fair to them, they are not trying to get away with non-payment strategies and all their T&C are written on their site, including the withdrawal times.

Ive cashed out of 12 casinos/poker rooms and ive never had to send in any of these documents.im cashing out via same payment processer that i deposited so there is no security issue.i only have 1 account here there is no other account created on my computer to this casino.

This is set up so problem gambler will not take their money off this site, they will just cancel withdraws to keep playing once they go busto. this casino in no way complys with resposible gaming and id recommend that people stay as far away from them as possible.
The casino wants you to send in documents after you have made a deposit because your account is now in positive status. This complies with money laundering laws. If you refuse to send in documents then that is your prerogative, your original deposit less any winnings should be refunded.

You will find that in the not too distant future, it will be almost impossible to play anywhere without some kind of verification procedure. Like many other threads in this forum it comes down to the same thing - players not bothering to familiarise themselves with the T&C's, partly through sheer laziness and partly through their own carelessness.

It amazes me that many of these people in other aspects of their life are probably extremely diligent when it comes to parting with their money. Yet when they sign up at an online casino they seem to forget the small print.

    And PIANOMAN Say

Suppose I'm just stirring some old coals here?
But I came looking for info on this "Europa Casino" and was interested in the replies here.
I'd simply got one of "those" emails a few days ago -
said Deposit 20 play with a Hundred.
Decided I'd give em a try, despite the bagging this geezer's giving them here.
    Now I see it was nearly a year ago;
Maybe it's no longer pertinent? But then, it had gotten my attention and bad mouthing Europa nearly caused me to go elsewhere.
And that would have denied me one of the more pleasant experiences in recent times.

Immediately after registering went looking for a chat person?
Before I could even find the link to signal anybody, chat box opens and Leo's online asking whether he can be of assistance?
    Wow. A mind reader!

Can't help me with the quoted bonus he says, what about a counter offer?
100% on the 20 and another $50 on top.
Why argue thinks me, close enough I reckon.
Thank him for the deal and tell him I'll deposit $40!
Leo says good luck, I bid him farewell, do neteller dep, suddenly Leo's back.
Got you that $100 says he

Beauty!!! My $40 plus $150 bonus.
Ask him where to start ? Recommends Gold Rally (standard operator suggestion) and there's me now staring at bet minimum of $2 line x 8 lines.
Wha??? 16 bucks a spin? Not this lil black duck mate!
    Try 5 lines maybe. Nothin!
Try it again? Yeah - it's their money. WOHHH. 450 smackers...
6 hours later bal is $930.
End up with half that amount when two hours later I've played thru my 7000 dollars worth.

Check with Chat Lady ... "ok to w/d now ?"
She says looks ok to her, support will email me in a few hours.

Submit W/D, am reminded bonus will be removed from balance.
I then take the initiative, send 'em the faxback requirements BEFORE they're asked for - compliment them on the nice software and the excellent service.

Response is equally polite and appreciative of positive comments.
Announces also that W/D is a 4 DAY process.

    Oh No?
IT's NETELLER. Heavens to Murgatroyd! Should I be worried?
They can't do this to me!?!
Should Pianoman go on rampage and let the world know what a lowdown, connivin, theivin bunchapricks they are?

    Yeah like sure thing bozo!

It is stated in the casino T and C that withdrawals take up to 4 working days before they leave their pending state. You should read T and C before make a deposit. If you like Playtech software you can play at Bet365 (they process withdrawals in 24 hours)

You are absolutely right, most Playtech casino have this "4 working days pending policy" in order to make players cancel their withdrawal and play again.
I don't like this policy as it targets compulsive players, but it was written in the casino Terms and conditions which a player must accept when he/she open an account. So the casino is in its right to ask for documents, and keep the withdrawal in pending for 4 days.
