    Rival Casinos and Scary Rich

    Hey everyone,
Sorry I have not posted in awhile. The reason is this: I joined CasinoMeister in April, because it looked like a great place to share stories and get information, which it is. The reason I have only looked at postings, and not said anything, is because ever since I did in May about Rival, I have not been able to win a thing. I thought, maybe they're mad at me for opening my big mouth, so I will keep it shut. Well, now I realize it just doesn't matter. My question is, after complaining about Fantasy Fortunes, I heard from a lot of people to try Scary Rich. It was great for the first two weeks, and got me hooked. Ever since May I have lost $30,000 betting pennies on Scary Rich at Rival Casinos. I belong to all 10, and the only one that I haven't had awful luck with is Mayan. I got $916 from Simon Says (that was my 30% cashback for my July losses, that tells you how much I lost in July at Simon Says alone), but anyway, I couldn't even get that $900 over $1000. I just lost another $2500 in 6 hours at Simon Says. I'm just wondering if anyone else is having the same problems, or if I should really close my accounts since I obviously just can't win at Rival anymore. It's not just not being able to win either, it's being able to play. I'm going through thousands. I have never spent this much in my entire life. It makes me sick to look at it. And I know everyone says, why keep playing it? I think, it has just got to pay out. I know the variance on Scary Rich is high, but for goodness sakes, I've lost 30 grand, you think someday I'd hit at least $2,000 or something. I'm just wondering if everyone is having the same luck on Scary Rich, or if Rival just really wants me to quit playing there.

    Heidisue,

Take my advice, close all your Rivals accounts but one, maybe two, limit your deposits per week and quit chasing because you will never make up what you have lost.

I closed all my Rival accounts but Sloto'cash and make one deposit a week, just to keep up account. Reason I chose Sloto was because they pay quick. Last month I did manage to break even. I don't play max credits on the $2.00 slots anymore because you lose your BUTT in 5 minutes, whereas at $.60 you can play a little longer.

Give them a break. Take a breather for a while.

    Hi heidisue76
    Take annie and bb28's advise.
What you don't know when you see the "winners screenshots" is that alot of these winners have put lot's of money into getting a screen shot like that!
(There are some who do win without a huge investment, but in all reality I think those are pretty rare.)

IMO Winners Screenshots should come with a "Warning Label"...stating
"Warning, do not do this at home!! alot has been invested into getting some of these screen shots!!"
I myself used to look at the winners screen shot thread every day and I honestly thought I was the only one who couldn't win!!! Until a member told me about the amount of money some of those players invested just to get the screen shots. it was alot!

If you are in the "chase" for the "big hit".. then there is no fun in gambling. and If there is no fun IMHO why bother? Gambling is not a part/full time job for most players. It should be a source of entertainment, because you can not count on it being a source of income!
When I played to win and I was in the chase I couldn't win a thing. Once I played for fun, that's when I started to win!

I knew someone who would call the Dog Track his "part-time job".. but after a few years I looked at him and said "I don't know of any part-time jobs where the employee pays the employers!!"

Please re-evaluate your situation!! You need to step back and look at the overall picture! You are chasing ONE thing. There are so many software providers and acreditted casino's but you got caught in the chase! which I think we all do at some point in time, but not to the tune of $30,000! That's a pretty hefty price to pay for a screen shot!

Just to get the thrill of seeing the 3 Frankensteins and hopefully the 3 Draculas in the feature, I have made a couple of thousand spins on Scary Rich at $0.20 per spin. Got some good wins but never saw 3 Draculas. Had a lean spell in the middle where I went thru more than 500 spins without the feature though got 5OAK Professors and Wolves?. Overall, I think I am up by $80 in this slot which is quite good considering that I only deposited $43 with a 300% bonus. Frankly, I dont mind losing the lot but I have spun hours at different slots over the past 3 days and I am very satisfied with the game time.

    Chuchu,

People are going to tell me I am wrong, but I have found that with most of the new games, the $2 max ones, that if you stay at $.20/$.40 per spin you will get the bonus more often and it will pay pretty good. If you go over that or try max, they suck. Except for the new Wilderness slot and it sucks all the time. I rarely deposit more than $50 at a time and usually only once a week. This keeps my account current and every now and then I get lucky without losing the farm.

As far as the Frankensteins, they have gone on vacation as far as I am concerned. Haven't seen them in so long, I forgot what they look like.

I agree, I have had more bonus rounds on scary playing .40 and .60 than when I up the bet to 1.00 or higher. I am a true low roller so I'm fine with the low bets, but this does seem fishy

I also agree with you guys on the .40 and .60 cent bets......I've had a few really awesome wins at that bet size. I think once 400+ followed by another 300+ really soon after getting another bonus round at a .60 bet. Wooo HOoo! I have had a few other awesome wins at higher bets but I don't bet high unless I'm way ahead and I've also learned a few hard lessons about that........set a limit as to how far to go down and quit there.

I know excatly how you feel, you played so much and expected to hit the big one and you hate not to play there because you think sooner or later your gonna hit the big one because you invested so much money and if you close the account you feel like they got the best of you and your sick because you lost all that money, do yourself a favor, just walk away. Go back to the threads and read the stories, there are some good casinos out there, I recommend if you want to continue to play you play at microgaming casinos, but my honest suggestion is to just stop playing, it's not worth it..
    Good Luck to you

I really like the notion of saying how much was needed in deposits to hit that winning screenshot............maybe no gambler really wants to know how much his/her wagering is truly costing and perhaps the real winner is the **cough** casino *cough* gambler who doesn't have to bet the farm to get a good screenie. You know, a random win? Hell, so much of the glory would be lost if you see that someone hit a $10k JP, then see that it took $12k in deposits to hit it.
