Rival Casinos - email problem !!!!

Hi,

don't know if this is for all Rivals, but I had this at "This Is Vegas" and "Superior C.".

They cannot send emails to many email addresses of specific email providers.

I have never got one single mail from them, only the chat transscriptions (?) come through. I talked to them about, but they didn't want to belive that the problem is on their end (at least not my spam filter or so).

Now my brother (same prob) was told by them to open a new email address at GMAIL, because they cannot send mails to YAHOO.DE, WEB.DE, HOTMAIL.DE (more ?).

I cannot undestand why they don't fix this issue. Players will begin to complain, because they will not get the mail that requests the documents for their first withdrawal.

Would be nice to know if someone with theese mail providers (maybe only .DE) has no such problem.

BTW: Despite of this, they are VERY NICE CASINOS in my opinion.

It sounds to me as if the chat transcripts are emailed from a different email server than regular casino mail is sent from.

I'm fairly certain that TIV contracts out their live help, because of the fact that when I contacted them regarding a bonus issue, they had to ask which casino I was talking about.....

Another point that would explain this is that the live chat program itself is powered by liveperson.net. I'd almost guarantee that the transcripts are coming from that domain, and not TIV, or any other casino for that matter.

It's also quite possible that most casinos (not only Rival) are on the spam blacklist for Yahoo and Hotmail. Both have horrible spam filters, and legitimate messages often get either blocked, or thrown into the spam folder.

I would like to unofficially say it looks like yahoo and a few other email providers are blocking out our emails or at least delaying them by as much as 3 days. I have been told about this as being an issue by this is something Rival is trying to work out on our behalf. If you do open up a gmail account they naturally have better spam blocking capabilities and you shouldn't have any issues receiving emails. I would have to ask players to have to switch away from their standard email providers but the problem is being looked into. I apologize if I have kept quiet on this when some players have complained but I am trying to figure out the full story and the solution before saying anything when I'm just not 100% sure of the situation.

Will be back to regular posting status in about 2 days

John

Thx for your reply.

The only thing I'm totally sure of, is that it has nothing to do with spam filters. I have all spam filters down. And as I get all those lousy viagraaaa prizes and penis enlargements mails a.s.o., I guess they do not block any mails of totally. So it must be a very specific thing for Rival.

Ans yes, I looked at a mail from Live Chat in detail. Though the "from" is thisisvegas.com, the "helo" is somthing like "livechat.net". So it doesn't come from a Rival address directly I guess.

You'd be surprised at how many emails get blocked entirely by Hotmail &/or Yahoo.

I don't think it's as simple as turning your spam filter off or on. The question is: Are some of these email providers blocking email before it ever reaches your inbox???

My point exactly.

I noticed the following little tidbit of information from an email sent from Superior, and searched my email for any other mails that were sent from the same place.

Low and behold, every email I have ever received from any Rival casino popped up. I think it is safe to say that this domain is blocked from getting through to Yahoo and Hotmail due to it being on their 'blacklist'.

Sorry Guys but these are not the cases.
Ive just received many emails from all the Rival casinos except TIV.(my filter is still off)
One of those was from "sloto cash" who was telling me "thanks for your feedback, your account has now been closed" lol. (It was dated april 6 approx 3pm.)So it works when they want to...
This is the final proof from them telling the gambling world how inept they are, and what lack of intelligence theyr manager suffer of.
My compliments Sloto
Well done.........lololol

This post was intended for the other similar thread about Rival.

This is pretty sick uh! Sorry Kakata! Apparently there are aware that there is a problem with customers receiving either delayed email from them or not receiving it all, so it's beyond me how or why they wouldn't want to hold on to a customer by throwing them a bone. On the other hand....kakata your issues with STC may have nothing to do with spam filters, it may all be shoddy cs.

I'm not defending them and none of this excuses sorry customer service, but it's still possible that emails with certain key words and from certain email addresses are not being delivered at all or not being delivered to email boxes in a timely manner.
