POC - new manager... !? let see...

Any one else notice the Palace of chance has a new manager? He actually checked in here today! now for the unbelievable news... its the same person who called my house when I won and said I would "definately be paid" .. I recieved an email with a promo... so I wrote back and asked the infamous questions...
1) I was locked out
2) my account and pending payout was wiped out...


now lets see what happens.. I am really not gonna hold my breath but wouldn't that be sweeeeeet!!

Actually tim, he is the one who almost lost his job (so to say) and he is also the one who told me that Andre had been pulling the "bonus abusers" claim with "ALOT" of customers. I really don't expect to get paid the rest, to be honest. (It would be nice, as I did have the second hit on blackjack in the middle of it all for $2500.00) all I ever saw was a refund of deposits made to them from my bank. The amount paid to them through click to pay was ALOT Higher and I never saw that.

Just saying It would be a nice surprise to be paid.. but then again Inetbet is the only one who actually pays the players and FAST! (see the new thanks thread for them. (I cashed out 400 in the middle of the night and it was in my account this morning) WTG INETBET

Hi Rhino,, the new manager is Dean.. he is the one who called my house to say "I just spoke with Andre and yes you will be paid, just do it like this... withdraw $2500 at a time and play through another $1000.00 and when the $2500.00 is paid, then request the next $2500.00, we just had a big win so it is easier to do it this way"

I won't make anything of it "the new managers" ... until I see some effort on thier part. We all got burned pretty bad. I think it would probably sink them to pay off any promised wins during the reign of thier "Martyr Managers".

Despite doing everything his support has recommended. First they said email him, so I did,,, and never heard back, so I tried their chat because I still can not access my account even thought I received an invite.... see below.
last night they told me to call him "in the morning", I did,,, I was told he "stepped away from his desk can you call back" I did.. 3 times then was told to try to reach him through live support , I did.. they told me to email him.. which I did and still nothing....

An update would be... My account is unlocked and I was given a free $50 chip ... unfortunately it doesn't make up for the pending $2500.00 withdrawal and the balance of over $2000.00 that was wiped out, and needless to say I can not see making a cash deposit to someplace that had no problem taking my winnings and balance besides they are Rogue .

Well everyone! My account at Palace of (fat) Chance (your gonna be paid). Was indeed reopened. Now here is the funny part.

I emailed Dean who WAS the employee (now manager) who phoned my home the day I won that random jackpot, and told me I would be paid if I followed this procedure (explained in the letter below)... I did ask him if he was going to give back some of the funds I had won as he was the one who called my home that day. here is his reply...

Funny thing. The money was not removed by accounting. (I have screen shots and copies of all chats to prove it!) It was a "Managers Withdrawal" that wiped out my account.
No negotiations. I remember that YOU were the one to call my home and tell me "I just spoke with Andre and yes you will be paid, just cashout like this....request $2500.00 because we just paid a big win, Playthrough another $1000.00, when the first request is processed and paid then request the next $2500.00).. So I followed your rules and was dragged along for 10 days waiting for a wire transfer that never was put through. I also hit for another $2500.00 playing blackjack in the middle of everything. But I was only reimbursed deposits made to Andre's casino via my bank.. all click2pay payments were ignored.
So, I find it hard to believe if a players "pending cashout" and "balance" are wiped out via a "managers withdrawal" that the new "honest" manager can not put those funds back!
I am not that naieve dean.. you pretended to care about the players and how Andre was treating them. You actually told me "Andre" is "doing this to alot of the players"......... hmm
thats ok.. when you became manager I started a thread a Casinomeister's forum informing them that it was under new management. I also let them know I would keep everyone posted as to what would happen. I have proved I am not a bonus abuser. I sent documents to Andre with ALL of my deposits not just the ones from the bank, but the ones from click2pay also.
So there was no need to imply that in your letter. He proved he was in the wrong by refunding me my bank deposits.
Until Palace of Chance is out of the Rogue Pit, I won't deposit a dime.

Started on April 15, 2007 I do not think that you who is new to this forum (allegedly) should jump to any conclusion as to whether or not I was "nice". As a matter of fact #1) I thought dean was a friend... I was wrong.
#2) If you read that thread you will get the whole story!
#3) I have had more conversations with them where for 10 days I believed my money was being wired.. and I was always nice. (As we ALL tend to be when attempting to claim our winnings!!)

I am still wondering what would make Laurijim assume I had not been polite or anything else for that matter.
I saw alot of assumptions toward me yet alot of "hype" regarding a "Rogue" casino. Although the member since 2006 might make them a member longer than I, I did consider this "Hype" strange for a first post here. (which brings another burning question which I will address after some more research.)

WHY would an online casino call you "every day" about the status of your ailing husband?

That sounds a bit "creepy" to me...

Are these casino employees personal friends of you and your husband?

And WHY would they "give" you free chips for a period of 3 months?

If she has indeed spent that kind of money there, it's absolutely plausible that she would have been treated the way she says she has. Maybe her initial posts were a bit abrasive, but I can understand that too....IF she believed she was "defending" a casino and people that had always treated her well personally, and keeping in mind that she's a relative forum newbie. Not everyone knows exactly the right words to say in a post. Some are better at it than others.

lauriejim fair enough, you are a "good customer" of the casino and their sympathy, although quite possibly sincere, is an established business practice to keep you loyal to their casino and even increase their profits from you.

I am suprised that a player like yourself would actually know casinomeister existed. Most players here at a minimum play very low house advantage games and many will only play at casinos with an advantage over them. (kasinoking is a prime example :notworthy ) And you obviously dont care about the dubious practices of some casinos and are prepared to take the risk playing big with them, and have no issues with payouts etc.

lauriejim fair enough, you are a "good customer" of the casino and their sympathy, although quite possibly sincere, is an established business practice to keep you loyal to their casino and even increase their profits from you.

I am suprised that a player like yourself would actually know casinomeister existed. Most players here at a minimum play very low house advantage games and many will only play at casinos with an advantage over them. (kasinoking is a prime example :notworthy ) And you obviously dont care about the dubious practices of some casinos and are prepared to take the risk playing big with them, and have no issues with payouts etc.

They're going to give Hamilton an NHL team? Christ, I really gotta get back into hockey, lol. I've been waiting a lifetime for the Leafs to do something noteworthy, namely win the Cup. We got ripped in '93 when Gretzky was on the ice for LA, and should have been in the penalty box.

Reactivating rights to Ontario arena offers a backup

The future of the Predators still rests in Nashville's hands, but the prospective owner of the National Hockey League franchise has given himself a contingency plan.

Jim Balsillie and Hamilton, Ontario, have reactivated an agreement that would give the Canadian billionaire exclusive rights to bring an NHL team to Hamilton's Copps Coliseum.




Balsillie's attorney and a Hamilton city councilman downplayed the development.

NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman, while declining to discuss specifics of the Hamilton situation, said the possibility of relocation was a non-issue provided the Predators maintain their arena lease in Nashville.

Balsillie has yet to comment publicly about his plans for the Predators or his agreement with Hamilton.

"No businessman puts all his eggs in one basket,'' said Terry Whitehead, a Hamilton city councilman. "A prudent businessman looks at all his options and markets. This way, if something goes south in one market, he's got alternatives to look at.''

Said Toronto attorney Richard Rodier, a close associate of Balsillie: "It is simply a contingency plan in the unlikely event that the Predators' arena lease terminates prior to its normal course expiration.''

Balsillie signed a letter of intent to purchase the Predators from Craig Leipold for $220 million last week, but the deal won't be finalized until it's approved by the NHL's board of governors. There's no set date for that to take place.

Purcell, Bettman talk

The Predators are under lease to remain in Nashville for at least the 2007-08 season, but if the team activates an attendance clause in its contract by June 19, it could open the doors for a move for 2008-09.

However, if the Predators average 14,000 fans in average paid attendance next season, or if Metro makes up the difference if the average is less than 14,000, the team would stay here.

"My belief is that as long as the lease is in effect, there's no reason for anyone to be focused on the relocation of this club,'' Bettman said. "Obviously, if the lease is not in effect, whoever owns the club will probably want to explore his options, whatever they may be. That's nothing we're focused on right now, because we don't at this point see any reason to focus on something that may not happen.''

Nashville Mayor Bill Purcell spoke with Bettman on Thursday and the commissioner "reaffirmed what he has already said publicly" about Balsillie's plans, Purcell spokeswoman Molly Sudderth said. The mayor has not spoken with Balsillie.

Hamilton has been interested in procuring an NHL team for years. But even if the Predators' lease were to be broken after the upcoming season and Balsillie were to choose to move the team, there would be challenges in putting it in Hamilton.

Copps Coliseum, home to the American Hockey League's Hamilton Bulldogs, would require millions of dollars worth of upgrades to meet NHL standards.

Also, Hamilton lies within the 50-mile territorial range of two NHL teams — the Buffalo Sabres and Toronto Maple Leafs — meaning that Hamilton would have to reach some kind of financial settlement that would satisfy both teams.

"We've been in this position many times before,'' Whitehead said. "From the city's perspective, you've got someone representing a businessman looking for an opportunity with the city of Hamilton.

"We'd like to be involved in the fray, but are we overly optimistic? Certainly not.''

Uncertainty remains

Other cities that would probably be discussed if Balsillie were to choose to relocate the Predators are Winnipeg, Manitoba; Quebec City; Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario; Houston and Kansas City.

Bettman hopes the situation never gets that far.

"The lease is completely in control of the people in the city of Nashville,'' Bettman said. "And I'm not talking just about fans, but the business community and all the various factors. If the attendance mark gets met, this whole thing is a non-issue.''

The Predators averaged more than 13,800 in paid attendance last season, not far from the goal of 14,000 that the team is trying to reach this season, but Thursday's developments added to the uncertainty felt by fans in Nashville.

"It seemed that Bettman was told by Balsillie that he had no intent to move," Predators season ticket holder Brian Hogue said. "So to see (Balsillie) reach out to Hamilton through a lawyer certainly leads to speculation that there's something going on behind the scenes that we don't know about.'
