So true, many casinos have no intention of engaging in any kind of dialogue with a player UNTIL the magic words "Forum" or "Charge back" are uttered, and only this prompts the opening of communication channels. If a player is not getting ANY responses from the casino operator, they feel they have nothing to lose by upping the ante with these two magic words.
Indeed, if many players actually make a "charge back", the card companies will consider striking that merchant from the list of allowed recipients of deposits. This can be done by contacting VISA international, and making an "adverse merchant report", even if no "chargeback" has been made.
VISA move slowly though, and there are still many dodgy merchants allowed to take VISA payments.

Full Sails - before we get raided ourselves.
Very ill today, so short and sweet...
I paid with a prepaid visa through click2pay... how do I get a charge back going.
I am sure mr. andre rossi is aware of this and laughing his butt off. After all. I have heard nothing,(but I have recieved promo junk mails) since I was locked out!
I don't even know if Bryan is still trying to mediate, ..But yes I think I will go 1 step further ,, I think I will file fraud charges with both the bank and visa. If he can't at least give me back all the cash I depositted.
Just because the US government started this rubbish about one line gambling is no reason to rip off US player.

I am not a part of the industry anymore except as an interested observer. I have considered why players have felt the urge to use forums and charge backs as threats . and the main reason I feel is because for the most part the posters on forums believe that when they tell players about posts and such it makes a difference. I am glad to see a current thread on this sight where posters are condoning a player for posting about there experiences at a Rouge casino, I would love to see more of that. It is sad when certain forums become " players = good, casino= bad". One reason I come here is that Bryan does that best job that I have seen of giving to both sides of the coin. I wish there was a real give and take forum or something that both sides could discuss all maters, and this also means casinos, who also do not usually realize that there is a give and take.

Unless mystic is in one of the 11 states with state laws against internet gambling, s/he didn't break any laws. The bank may have, but if they didn't know and there are no rules in place yet, no problem for them.
AFAIK, to date, no one has been prosecuted for slot play on line, so no court has set a legal precedence interpretting the wire act to cover the internet for gambling. Sportsbooks are another thing altogether.
It's really too bad the manager won't come on here and straighten this out, it gives their whole group a worsening reputation. If they won't tell their side of the story we can only assume that mystic is 100% correct about getting stolen from and not just miffed about not being able to collect on the jackpot, which would suck enough in itself!
I only reread the first two pages of this thread, but Mystic do you have an accurate amount of your deposit to bonus ratio? If you have received as much in bonuses as you've deposited, then you are definitely entitled to at least the $250. It's a bullshit rule and it sucks (as do most of the max cashout rules at RTG), but once again they covered themselves by putting it in there.
I'd be more concerned about the fact that you say they took five unauthorized deposits from your bank account. You'd certainly be within your rights to do a chargeback, but keep in mind that some casinos/payment processors share a database which tracks player chargebacks, NSF's, etc. You could very well end up on a blacklist...not saying you will, just that it's a possibility. Of course, you could be so soured on gambling period that you could give a rat's ass....also understandable. Just a thought. In any event, if it were me, and you didn't make those five deposits you spoke of...I would definitely dispute those. Were they direct from your bank...or you mentioned Click2Pay also?
Attn: New Members! Make sure to check out the "Casinomeister Accredited Casinos" and the "Spot The Rogue" section of the main site here before jumping into "Online Casinos" with no information or knowledge behind you!
Just a note, don't know if it would apply to mystic. The group uses a creative process for some deposits. The CS don't know how it works, or sometimes even which processors they use.
I had something similar happen and it wasn't theft but a mistake by accounting who tried to use a processor that casino doesn't usually use. The erroneous duplicate payment sat in pre-auth at my bank for almost a week before it dropped off, so it looked like I was being charged, and it tied up my 'available balance' for awhile, but there was no charge in the end. It was a hassle but I was lucky enough to be playing at Prism and got free chips to play with while they sorted it out.
The way this all worked out for you Mystic is really sad. I agree with Pinababy that there is no reason we've seen that should keep you from at least getting your 10x cashout, and if there are deposits not credited and played out, that is another matter altogether. The crazy terms are one thing, but that would be outright theft. And Andre Rossi might want to get his butt on here and clear the air!
I am really glad that I read this thread. I received this e-mail--
