    Cool An observation on complaints!

Looking down the recent complaint threads in this forum, I think people could use a reminder that the Accredited Casinos list is up again at http://www.casinomeister.com/casinos.html with US casinos updated too. If you aren't aware of this list, you ought to be!

    Cheers

    Simmo!

Something else I noticed I am getting damn sick of people posting complaints and just not even bothering following them up. I mean come on the complaints are not going to solve themselves just because you posted them.
I only feel worse for CM and others who help with complaints only for it to be a waste of time...

Haven't some 'accredited casinos' been right there amongst the complaints?

I think to say if you play at accredited casinos then you wont have complaints is, well, looking at the scene through slightly rose-tinted glasses.

Recent experiences by forum posters certainly would suggest this.

Sorry to spoil any love-in here and not knocking the accredited list as such but any even casual perusal of complaints tells it as it it really is.

That's one of the problems here. There are a large number of posters who come in, post a complaint - and leave, never to return. You have to watch making "casual perusals" so you don't get caught in their game.

Accredited casinos are not immune to the occasional screwup, but they have representatives in this forum that are in most cases pretty active and helpful.

Totally agree with the "drive by" complaints. It must drive you mad. This forum indoubtedly attracts a lot of scammers ... or, more correctly, reputation blackmailers. And I appreciate that you have to give even the most dubious of dubious posters a fair chance.

But, that said, it is strange times at the moment and, as i say, not knocking the accredited list as such, but players need to be very cautious with all casinos.

There is no 'magic' list unfortunately which was my 'take' on this thread.

Some are better than others (and, yes, some are basically rogues) but ... well, give it a couple of months of 'bad runs' and out of the blue there are "issues" with even the previously good ones.

Casinos exist to make money. When they don't then even the most accredited ones turn bad in a blink of an eye. They are hardly going to put bad cashflow in their newsletters.

Personally, I only play IBAS UK based ones now. I prefer to do my gambling at the tables not with the casinos cashflow.

But, sure, I appreciate the balancing act ... I was only a bit disappointed at the blanket endorsement which is occuring in an unstable insudtry.

I agree with your post. We all need to be careful. Using the "list" however is a like having a personal rep in our pockets because the CM knows them and knows how to deal with them for those occasional "issues" that do happen. Following his procedures helps ensure that there is no casino bashing. Alot of new posters dont follow them. You have your own personal rep by staying with regulated sites. Smart!

Hey meister, maybe we should make it a requirement that you must Pm a rep with your complaint first before you are allowed to post the complaint. If a complaint thread is created naming a Casino without a Pm, it gets deleted and a warning sent to the poster. Of course im no computer wiz so I dont know how that would work. I like the fact that you have a cooling period between signup and first post..that seems to have helped.
