How true Swamp, and how sad really. It wouldn't surprise me if you are totally correct. There's only one word to describe the sheer volume of this marketing campaign.....saturation.

On your last two terms, I'm almost scared to go and punch them into the search engine, and I mean that. I would put nothing past them at this point, nothing.

They also missed out on home equity loans, but otherwise they seem to have covered pretty much everything.

Shouldn't ecogra approved casinos be held to a higher standard even if many others are using sleazy marketing strategies including spam?

Sure. That SHOULD have been caught before approval. Since this particular casino group had a pretty good reputation, I could see how eCOGRA might have thought deeper digging wasn't needed, and I'm willing to give them a little slack. Very little slack.

Home equity loans? Considering this campaign so far, I don't know how they missed that. The day is young, though.

How about "sex-change operations", "global warming", "pyromania", and "incest"? Ooo. Maybe I should apply for a job.

Well, there was one about high interest mortgage rates, that's pretty close.

I thought I would do a quick run through of all the links I have sent to Andrew since Thursday, and there were many. All now simply redirect to the site with page not found showing in the browser, EXCEPT for these four.

    http://www.allslots.com/depressed-su...-fear-with.php

    http://www.allslots.com/who-would-ha...her-played.php

    http://www.allslots.com/trying-to-co...ne-casinos.php

    http://www.wildjack.com/feeling-dead...ino-online.php

I'm dumbfounded that two of the most offensive ones (suicidal and breast cancer) are still active.

Again, if anyone else finds more, please let me know. Thanks.

Apparently Jackpot Factory staff don't know what's on their own webpages, that's the impression I get from the e-mails. Wild Jack seems to be the most infested, with some 12900 pages, and I bet 99% of those is keyword rich advertising.

http://www.wildjack.com/anorexia-and-black-jack.php is another fine example of responsible casino advertising, as is http://www.wildjack.com/been-mugged-wallet-stolen-play-and-win.php

I also never had anything but good experiences with Jackpot Factory. Good and friendly customer service, quick payouts, generous comps, they had it all. But just because a casino pays its customers on time and throws bonuses in their accounts, does NOT excuse this behaviour. There's a bigger picture here...it's how people perceive the online gaming industry as a whole. And this whole episode screams SLEAZY!!
    Sorry, I disagree.

It's true that sleazy marketing hurts the industry's image, but not as much as casinos that slow-pay and no-pay their customers.

The biggest problem with the image of the industry has to do with guaranteeing payouts and fair games.

Mind you, I'm not condoning sleazy marketing...

But marketing, sleazy or otherwise, is mainly an issue that concerns affiliates, not players.

How many people would be so disgusted at a company attaching themselves to something like the following that they would choose not to spend money with that company?

Read why I introduced Jackie to Microgaming casino online black jack

Jackie had really been having a hard time. She missed Pete so much. But he was gone. Pete had died tragically young of lung cancer and Jackie thought she would never get over it. We had all loved Pete and we all missed him, but it was definitely hardest for Jackie. Anyway, I had been assigned, 3 months after his death, to try and come up with something to try and renew her zest for life. It just so happened that I had discovered Microgaming casino online black jack the week before and since I had felt a certain sense of excitement with Microgaming casino online black jack that I had never felt before at any other casino online black jack, I figured that introducing Jackie to casino online black jack might help.

(from a link posted by another member)

    It concerns everyone.

And it should be of extreme concern to Microgaming, as their name is used directly in this article (and others, I assume).

Every single clean operator in the business should be putting pressure on MG to shut this group down for the sake of the industry. This affects software developers, casino operators, affiliates, players, and any agencies like eCOGRA that claim the following on their website:

eCOGRA is the independent standards authority of the online gaming industry, specifically overseeing fair gaming, player protection and responsible operator conduct.

Prompt payments, safe storage of information, random games, honest advertising, and responsible behavior by the online casino and poker room operator are the primary concerns of every player, so that means they are also the primary concerns of eCOGRA, "eCommerce and Online Gaming Regulation and Assurance".
