No not yet, I checked this morning. The Affiliate Manager I spoke to yesterday concerning this issue, unfortunately he is away from the office today until the 4th June. He is a good guy and is not responsible for this mess. I know also that Spear has been in touch with him also concerning this.Originally Posted by Pinababy69
I will be posting on CAP this afternoon concerning this. However I do have a lot of time for Lloyd the affiliate manager and don't want it to be perceived as a public lynching of him, as in my view, he is in no way at fault here.

Well, I have visited it Spear, lol. Glad to see that you too will be removing links to JF. I assume that's what you meant by work right? LOL.....Originally Posted by spearmaster

Yeah - should take me about a minute or two, my systems are set up such that I can remove any advertising from this site (or theoretically, all of my sites were there to be more than one) with the flick of a switch (oops! BAD word)Originally Posted by Pinababy69

But thanks for your support, both of you!
I suggest a "sleaziest marketing strategy" category for the Casinomeister awards. This should be a very hotly contested competition, only 5 months of the year have passed and we have already had Golden Palace disrupting the Winter Olympics, 888.com blog spamming and Jackpot Factory pulling this stunt.
Ecogra should have suspended Jackpot Factory at the least, their e-mails of being aware of the situation and taking it very seriously are meaningless without some action to back it up. Unless something is done very soon, i.e., today, I nominate ecogra for "toothless watchdog" award.

I agree GrandMaster. That was my thought precisely, maybe a six-month suspension, with their behaviour in the interim reviewed after that time. I believe someone also suggested having to donate a sum of money to a gambling addiction program. I would fully support that as well, and I don't mean $500 either, something substantial.Originally Posted by GrandMaster

It is too early to make a judgement call on ecogra until they have been given a chance to respond IMO.
Slow down... LOL...
I am sure eCOGRA is considering what action they have to take. However, all decisions of this sort surely need to be made by the board members, not just one individual - so this might take a little time - and it's only been two days (or 3).
However - no action would be a huge mistake, and in my opinion, a disservice to the industry. And naturally I would also recommend this be considered very urgently.
