Q1: Yes, all of these are goals of the seal process: Quote: Integrity; Safe site; Consistent payout; Responsible operator conduct. Unquote. Q2: As far as I know the suitability for the award of a seal is based on probity and other business and financial checks together with on-site inspection of all operational systems by the independent auditors eCOGRA hires for this purpose. The report from the auditors is then studied by the three independent directors responsible for seals (Hirst, Galston and Catania) who make the final decision to award or send the report back for further specific attention. I would imagine web searches would be part of such a process, but I'm not privy to the detailed content of the checks carried out and I simply don't know. This is the sort of question better posed to eCOGRA direct imo. Q3: Yes. There's a regular review and report to the directors process, again carried out by the auditors. Ongoing monitoring of transactions through the (contentious) TGTR process is also in effect. And complaints addressed to the CEO and FGA are dealt with as part of the administration set-up. Q4: See answer to Q3. Q5: eCOGRA's permanent staff consists of the CEO and the FGA. That's it. They have a pretty busy day dealing with the administrative side of eCOGRA, liaison with external bodies, advising seal holders, dealing with complaints to the FGA, doing the bidding of the directors (especially the independent directors who are mainly responsible for operational issues but are not actually full-time at eCOGRA) and other stuff I don't even know about. Along with seeking an independent perspective, this is why they outsource most of their checking, inspection and monitoring. That's my best shot at answering your questions, RobWin - as I say eCOGRA may be the better place to direct anything further you need to know. I will say this, however. In my personal experience Andrew Beveridge is one of the most professional and conscientious managers I have come across in this industry, and he is a hard worker with good player sensitivity. He is always prepared to tackle issues by raised by anyone with a problem and bring these before the directors to whom he reports.

Kudos, Bryan
Kudos, Bryan - the fact that Jackpot Factory has not yet managed to take down every last one of these awful "inspirational stories" despite the fact that management by its own admission has known about it for at least three (?) days vindicates your rogue-ing the entire group.

Jackpot Factory must have some really lame casinos. They couldn't write real stories about how good it and its games are, so they wrote some gobbledygook crap about it.
The manager actually hired someone with instructions to write garbage. How sad is that? The manager thinks so little of the casinos he oversees. I think maybe the wrong people got fired. |

Wow. That online- keno site is unbelievable. Its FULL of these inspirational stories. I'm not sure how many have been posted here but its well worth reading through them. One of the more lighthearted ones claims the existence of keno disproves the theory of evolution.
I won't cut and paste them all here but have a look for yourself. www.online--keno.com |

Online Keno
Now I realise that this could go on forever but had to pick this one as a personal favourite!!!
Read why I checked out keno John, my new boyfriend, wanted to take me on his boat. His boat was his pride and joy. The only problem was, much as I liked the idea of sailing in theory, in practice I often got motion sickness and I did not think that would make for a great date. But he was so excited and clearly had so much pride; what could I do but agree? I decided I was going to have to bring my computer and find something on the Internet which would take my mind off it. as I was searching on line for a fun game, I came across keno. I had not played keno for ages and I had certainly never played keno on a computer. I decided to check in to this keno game straight away. http://www.online--keno.com/feeling-...to-forget.html Click to play keno and click to feel good! Well, this game of keno was awesome. I was now feeling a lot better about the prospective boat trip with John. When we got on, he started the boat and I logged on to that great casino with the awesome keno. While he was busy, I was playing keno (the beginning of trips were usually the worst). And it worked! Playing keno at this cool casino was so much fun, I felt fine. In fact, I actually forgot I was on a boat and yelled out real loud when I won! John came running having thought I had hurt myself and when he found I was fine, we ended up in a wonderful embrace that led to, well I am sure you can work out what happened next! If something is bothering you and you need to find a way to get it out of your mind, play keno here. Dont want to sound pedantic but.... A. Wouldnt staring at a screen actually make you more seasick....like reading a book when in a car, and... B. Must have been quite a nice boat in order to get internet access Beyond the realms of creativity me thinks!!! |
