partycasino blackjack software can't add up! Dodgy software

    Hi there

This is my first post - I wanted to warn people about my experience with partycasino, affiliate of partypoker.

I really only played blackjack on here. I started getting suspicious of their software, after I got up to about $3000 profit over a number of days. Then I played one day and lost nearly 40 hands in a row. Odds wise 6+ for the dealer is bad. This casino hits 20 or 21 with this 70-80% of the time. In this session the dealer was hitting 70-80 % of the time with all hands with 19,20,21. I basically had to hit 20 or better to stand a chance, and I was getting beat or split with most 20s too. In that one day I lost the $3000 I had built up.

More fool me for continuing. Perhaps. I just figured the odds meant that I had to win a decent share of hands. Nope. If I wanted people to come back for more, and I ran a casino I would want people to feel they could win big, and come back for more when they lose. Is that what's happening here I don't know. I wrote an email to them, expressing my concern - unanswered of course.

But my real issue is that one day the software decided that my 2+2 = 5!!! I wanted to split, but couldn't. I hit, got a 5. Guess what: on this site 2+2+5 = 11!!!! I again emailed them with 2 screenshots and basically said - see there is something wrong with your software. My email had been "escalated" (standard wording - I'd seen it before). Several weeks later and emails later - still nothing. I wish I could upload the screenshots, but the files are just too big to post on here (195Kb limit)

I threatened to report them to the regulators and today they tried to claim a bonus I had received relating directly to another promotion a few days ago was in fact for all the inconvenience caused (but that they were still working on the complaint). Unbelievable.

Please all be warned about this provider. Shocking too that this is one of the big players.

You built up a balance of 3k and then lost the lot. Nothing wrong with that though the fact that the numbers arent adding up is a concern. Your example shows you cant add yourself though. If 2+2+5 = 11 then 2+2 = 6 and not 5.

While winning first $3000 and then loosing a big chunk of it is nothing out of ordinary I have to agree there is something wrong with blackjack at Party casino.

In 2009 I had a very strange incident where I have lost 400 pounds almost immediately.
After sending my play logs for analysis (some gambling experts where interested in seeing them) they came up with the conclusion that chances of that happening were literally like 1 in the 1000000. In mathematical terms almost five standard deviations.

As in other discussions regarding fairness of particular software - the question remains open if they tweak the RTP or just simply adjust the "streakyness" to make the game more exciting.

I'm going to go ahead and call bullshit on this. Feel free to prove me wrong.

If dealer won 40 hands in a row (assuming you were playing by basic strategy) the odds of that happening once in a thousand hands is 1 in 112514.

I have never heard of such a long losing streak as 40 hands in BJ.
You should ask casino to give you your hand history so we can see too.

    Hi all,

Thanks for the posts - and elliot I have PM'd you.

I wish I could remember the date when it happened, but I have been emailing for weeks on end. I certainly do know about winning/ losing streaks. This was more background to my initial beliefs that the software was dodgy.

I actually pushed on this hand in question. It's the principle that the software screwed up and they do nothing. On one email I just got a response saying how independent the software was and fair etc. Not this time it wasn't. They didn't mention once that they had even looked at the screenshots! I read somewhere that the BWIN software was tweaked some time back after complaints....makes you wonder.

Strange thing they weren't bothering to email me, then I threatened regulators and they email me back immediately\ with smokscreens, contradictory stories (about 6-7 different reps). I then changed tack and said enough, give me a manager to speak to this isn't working, and nothing for weeks.

They clearly care nothing about customer service.

I have no idea about BJ although I see strange results on it aswell, but to small amount of hands to say anything.

But. They do cheat in casino tournaments (or some players found a bug). The casino tournaments works like this. It's often 20cent per spin (but you could play higher, it wont affect the "points" used for the leaderboard in the tourney so this is irrelevant). You will often find somewhere between 10 to 20 players in the tourneys. Prizes paid for top 2 - top 5 or so (it varies). A few usernames will end up ITM 90%+ of the times. This is for hundreds of tourneys during the last couple of weeks. It's impossible if it's random. You will notice what I post here if you study it for a few days. They didnt respond to my complaints. Just wanted to share this with the forums. I have now cashed out and will probably not play with them anymore. As I say, you must study this by yourself closely for a few days.

That's pretty wild. The worst that I've ever had was a dealer hitting blackjack five times in a row. I hope that you find satisfaction. PartyCasino seems to have all of the correct badges... whatever that's worth. So here's hoping.

    Another happy online gambler!

"Then I played one day and lost nearly 40 hands in a row. Odds wise 6+ for the dealer is bad. This casino hits 20 or 21 with this 70-80% of the time. Get used to it. You keep playing online and you'll just keep giving your dough away. If you have the temerity to suggest, God forbid, that odds are rigged and payouts are manipulated, you will be promptly informed of the incredible "integrity and fair play" at the casinos with which many members here are affiliated. Or, of course, discredited with that old favorite: That you're a disgruntled loser.

In the immortal words of the late, great John Belushi:

    "Cough...cough BJ!..BJ.....cough cough BJ...cough cough......
