Allstar slots confiscating winnings of 15k$ for 'SLOTS2000'

Hi, I took advantage of the 'SLOTS2000' welcome bonus and deposited 800$ to recieve 2000$. After reading the terms pretty focused I began wagering 25$ bets on mystic dragon hitting a sweet 5 scatters (!!!!) totaling a win of about 19k$. Instantly after completing the wagering requirements my balance was reduced by about 15k$ to 3000$.. This was a total shock! After going through the terms again (pushing a button to extend a list of the complete terms) I found on point 10 :

The maximum amount available upon the completion of an individual bonus Coupon's wagering requirements is $3,000. (Upon completion of the wagering requirements, the Bonus Balance will be moved into the Withdrawable Balance and limited to a maximum amount of $3,000.)

Totally devastated I realized that I had just lost 15k$...

I think that rule should have gotten more space in the terms as its a pretty important rule for an initial balance of 2800$ to have a cap of 3000$...

I would even say that it is missleading for a casino that is going through the baptism of fire..

    What do you think?

hi , all i could say is very bad luck ,though tbo you should have had a proper look at terms & conditions ,hence you would of known it was capped , although to me its just another way of them getting out of paying out loads of monies , i think its abit poor that you made a good deposit then had alot of wagering to do then once completed they stab you in the back , but look on the bright side at least youve won some cash, move on close account go else where , best of luck

    All Star

    Welcome,
Wow, that sucks!!! I'm sorry you had to make your first post about this. That's really bad. Bad news is that it is clearly stated in their terms. I know that it is even talked about in a thread hear that I can't immediately find, I'm sure someone will.

They are a good casino that pays fast. This one rule however is bad IMO. Many RTG's have no max cashout bonuses. I know it going in though so I only take bonuses with small amounts, then if I ever hit even for 3,000, I'll be happy!

*I do agree that it should be spelled out at the beginning of the Terms, or in big bold letters!

At least you will get your winnings hassle free and quick, if that is any consolation, and I know its not much. Good Luck

This was the WELCOME bonus though, even Club World has a similar term for the WELCOME bonus.

No deposit bonuses OFTEN have a max withdrawal.

Capped withdrawal bonuses require different playing style. You should not be betting so big that you can win so much more than the max cashout.

This casino seems to cap ALL withdrawals from bonuses, but using an ABSOLUTE value of $3000, rather than a percentage. For this, deposit SMALL and OFTEN, rather than BIG, as more of any large win can be kept.

This kind of term will put players off though, because RTG is all about lots of bonuses (and lots of rules). Trying to get players to accept that RTG is NOT "all about bonuses" is going to be hard work.

I have NEVER seen a max withdrawal cap at any MICROGAMING casino (except on some of those free chip offers requiring no deposit - which includes "free play" offers). Microgaming bonuses are CASHABLE too - I have yet to see any that are not.

RTG casinos are also very prone to making players wait for big wins, by having weekly and monthly limits that are low enough to affect many players at some time or another.

    Max Cashout

OK, Vinyl. I did realize that it was a welcome bonus, and that all of their bonuses are capped. However I did not know that CW or other RTGs (CM listed) capped welcome bonuses.

I figure that since the wagering requirements are often so high, that they are or should be no max. Its important to check the terms, and verify with chat to save the conversation if you have doubts.

Well... there's a first time for everything!
Vegas Towers do a £/$50 match with no WR, but the bonus is PHANTOM.
My Jackpot do a 50% to €25 match also with no WR, and the bonus is sticky (NOT phantom).

I doubt we'll ever live to see the day any RTG does a Phantom with no WR...!

Accustom yourself to have some chats or emails BEFORE ANY financial transaction(ESPECIALLY with bonuses involved) to exclude any doubts in future and save these conversations.

Not too good would be also a withdrawal attempt when you had 1 credit left unwagered.

    Move on!

Personally I think the term itself is a disgrace. A cashout limit of what amounts to less than 3xDeposit in this case is mind-numbing...what are these people smoking??? (and where can I get some.....)

Seriously, this is almost a predatory term and and CM should consider not recommending on that basis. If the casino wants to limit the first cashout to $3k, then from an ethical standpoint they should also limit the deposit to $100 which at least allows a the player some chance to win.

Geez, even some Rivals allow cashouts of 5xBonus on bonuses over 100% which means the OP would have been able to take $10k with him.

However, the terms (however distasteful) were there in black and white so you will have to cop it on the chin.

Lets hope the OP's efforts in bringing this to light at least prevent anyone else from being caught by the short and curlies by what is a V irtual- like term,

Well, that blows. But on the bright side, you do have a nice cashout coming. For your own peace of mind, think of it as "I won $2,200." Perhaps you will even be bonus banned

I don't like any match bonus that caps my winnings. No Deposit or a later free chip, put any terms you like on it IMO.

Was $800 the minimum to claim this bonus? Or was it a 250 percent bonus, and you could have claimed a smaller amount?

I think that offers like the one you took help keep the payout on the machines high to hit the RNG requirements, with little or no risk to the casino.

I know when I take a bonus that if anything, I only minimized the house edge. If I get more than a chance for that, I still usually lose it due to my nature, and casinos realize it is the nature of most gamblers.

Thank you very much for pointing out the "fine print", and I trust no one reading this thread will go in ill-informed

I'm not sure any bonus is "predatory", and I'm not sure every one is not in some way. Bonus hunters are hunting casinos, and casinos are hunting players. The onus is on the player to read and UNDERSTAND terms of bonuses. Go to chat or email before depositing to make sure you understand everything. I ask chat about so much stuff before depositing. I save the chats too. Sometimes I ask questions I know the answer to, just to confirm and to see how knowledgeable staff is. Good indicator of how they may deal with you later.

I don't play there (how many RTGs does one girl need), but I do read the forum, and player reports have been good.

If they pay your win in a timely fashion, I'd look more closely at the bonus offers or just choose to play without a deposit. Or to paraphrase another poster, walk with your wallet.

If a casino was smart and client focused, they would not want to see a player who makes $800 deposits walk away. But not all casinos are smart. Not all are short-sighted either, and I hope Allslots continues to keep customer satisfaction high.
