Vegas Palms confiscates why win under the excuse that I am a bonus abuser?

First off I would like to say that I know that my credibility might not be that high considering that this is my first post and that I recently registered here. But then again, people don't contact a lawyer without having problems?

Anyway, I would like to write you my story and hear what you have to say about it. I recently registered with Vegas Palms Casino. They have a great signup bonus of 200%. And here is the essence of the case. When you play at a Casino, don't you trie to win? I know I do. So I played my funds the best way I could and I ended up netting a profit.

3 days after I ordered a cashout, I discovered that my account was locked. I emailed support and got a response that there were some "discrepansies" on my account. Not satisfied with that answer, I registered a account here at Casinomeister so that I could send the casino Contact a PM.

When he replied today he said that my account was closed because of bonus abuse.

My question is then. What is bonus abuse? Is bonus abuse when you play with a bonus and end up cashing out a profit? I played within the rules stated in the casinos T&C. I completed the wagering requirements and I have only one account in their network. If the casinos have a problem with people trying to gain an advantage from a bonus, why don't they change the wagering requirements so to make it less profitable? If I played in an "illegal" way, why dont they write it in the T&C? The way I see this is that this is a win\win situation for the casino. If the player looses with the bonus, the casino wins, If the player wins with the bonus, they confiscate his money and ban him for beeing a "bonus abuser".

My opinion is that if a player completes the wagering requirements and plays within the rules of the terms and conditions stated by the casino, and he doesnt have multiple accounts or play with stolen funds, he should be paid is money. Have can the casino not pay him?

It is just plain wrong that a casino can just point to "we reserve the right to.." and then close your account and confiscate your winnings as they pleases. I can understand it if it was real fraud going on, with multiple accounts, stolen credit cards etc. But when a player playes within the terms and conditions and completes the wagering requirements, he should be paid.

In my case, Vegas Palms set the play requirements. Vegas Palms should then abide by then.

Vegas Palms has now confiscated my 600$ win under the accusation that I am a bonus abuser. I played within the T&C, I completed the wagering requirements and I cashed out a win. What have I done wrong? Do people in here think it is right that a casino can confiscate "your" money when you have not breaken a single rule in their T&C?

Edit. I would like to "Pitch a bitch" if the users of this forum agrees that I have a case worth pursuing.

You should of course pitch a bitch, and also file a complaint with eCOGRA: http://www.ecogra.org/dispute.aspx?Page=3&OP=P (even if nothing comes of it, at least you won't feel so bad when eCOGRA start quoting the statistics of how no-one complains and everyone's happy with their casinos)

If you're not hiding any fraudulent activity and simply did as you said, the casino should pay up. Confiscating funds on the basis of how you played an offer is completely unacceptable. If the casino don't want you to bet too high, or too low, or on games they don't like etc. etc. they have to state that in the terms and conditions.

Fortune Lounge have been in this game long enough to know how bonuses work and can't start pleading stupidity now.

welcome aboard....i see you are a student from Norway. if you played from a dormitory or an apartment where a prior resident had gambled with Vegas Palms, that could be the issue. (or if someone else had used the same computer)

They've also locked all my accounts with them and stole the £200+ funds I have with them.

Had PM's Fortune Lounge here to be told the same bonus abuse reason.

Utterly gutted, I've been very carefull to only play at casinos I thought were reputable and thought these lot were supposed to be. I'll pitch a bitch as well for any good it'll do

    A splendid attitude - NOT!
Bryan (CasinoMeister) has an excellent record in sorting out these issues, and as FL has only just re-joined his 'accredited' list I'm sure they will be very keen to 'keep their noses clean' so to speak!

Even if players feel that FL are not going to budge, they must "Pitch a Bitch" if they believe they were treated unfairly. Don't forget Casinomeister has his OWN T & C that casinos must follow if they are to remain on the accredited list. One of these stipulates how the problem of "undesirable play" is dealt with. In short, players should be paid, and then banned. Retrospective confiscation is to be used only where the player has committed fraud against the casino in order to benefit from something they are not entitled to, which would apply here if players had given false details in order to claim bonuses that would not normally apply to them.

With only 3 PAB entries so far, FL could easily declare it not to be a problem as most complainants are not pursuing the matter, therefore they must be frauds.

I have just read the CasinoMeister newsletter. I don't play at the fortune Lounge group and I will certainly never play now that I read the newsletter and this thread here.

The last thing I need is to have to worry about my playing style being 'typical' enough for the casino's taste.

Seizing winnings because of a playing style that is deemed non-typical of a real player is way out of line. These players might have been bonus abusers, but they did play by the rules. As Bryan says in the newsletter, Fortune Lounge should have paid them and then locked them out.

Now what about someone who gets a bonus and 'grinds' it by playing a huge number of small, blackjack hands .

Is that typical of a 'bona fide player'? Probably not.
Does it warrant the player's winnings being seized? According to Fortune Lounge, apparently yes.

    Where does it stop?
