    Spin Palace

OK, I know it is in the terms and conditions but think its a pee take.

Got sent a link for spin palace
Spin Palace Online Casino - Play poker, blackjack, slots & more!

At the VERY VERY top it sayd 200% bonus up to 300. So, as a layman I took it to mean, deposit 150 receive 300. I had a look at the terms and conditions and saw I need to wager 18 times the bonus on slots. OK up to now.

So I deposited 150 but then saw I had only got 150 bonus. ???? Phoned up and spoke to someone who seemed insistant on interupting me every time I spoke and was told if you look at the Terms and Conditions it says

Deposit $50 to $99.99 and receive $100 free
    - Deposit $100 to $299.99 and receive $150 free
    - Deposit $300 or more and receive $300 free

Ok, yes it does say this and I did miss it. But WTF post on the home page of the link 200% UPTO 300. Its just worded ambigiously and is bullshit

Now the annoying thing is, if I had just gone to Spin Palace through just Spin Palace Casino - Over 200 Online Casino Games I would have had a 50 deposit 150 bonus with WR of 20 times

So now I have depsoited 150 got 150 wager 5400
Could have had dep 50 get 150 wager 4000

Its wrong and insinuates to players they are going to get something they are not.

Dont be so humble. You arent a layman as compared to many of us. However, the wording is ambiguous so if you havent started playing yet the casino should, in an act of good faith, allow you to withdraw $100 now and reduce your WRs to $4000 meaning that you actually deposited $50 for a 300% bonus since this is stated in their homepage.

I did actually suggest that to the CS rep but he said I had accepted the terms and conditions when I submitted my claim. He was arrogant and ignorant. When ever I argued a point with him he just interrupted me.

I have started playing and will not be wagering 1p over the WR if Im lucky enough to get there

given the misleading way that this is phrased they should be willing to get you to withdraw your money (without the bonus of course).

Personally i think the best way of dealing with these situations is by not playing and yes maybe try the phone support but if that fails then send an e-mail.

Legally (depending on which countries/states laws apply) their terms and conditions in the context may or may not apply it is not certain. In terms of a contract part of it is in what the contract says and part of it is in what laws of contract etc exist around the contract.

When it comes to misrepresentative advertising and ambigious contractual terms they cannot just say the contract says....because there is more to the legal position than what the contract porportedly says.

So i would argue the case before you started playing with the $$.

Also the real lesson here is to study the contractual terms WHENEVER there is a bonus of any sort as so many casinos have all sorts of quite unfair rules that if you dont you will get shafted. I have seen terms where you could only get a maximum win of 2*deposit on a slots only bonus of 100% - what is the point of playing a progressive jackpot for instance when the max bonus (automatically put into your account) is twice what you deposited!

If at all possible, since the wording is ambiguous, the player should be given the benefit of the doubt. Although he has started playing you could still reduce the WRs to $4000 since it was an honest mistake and the CSR was unwilling to budge.

    Hiall,

I have been in communication with the player and we have resolved the situation.
There were terms and conditions which I urge all players to read prior to cliaming the bonus and to make 100% sure they are going for the correct bonus.

In this case we worked woth the player and found a resolve to suit all parties

As usual I am here if you need anything!

    Kind regards,

    The Palace Group

Being a bit out of touch with casino land nowadays, are Spin Palace reputable enough? I have a friend who's just deposited there, refused the bonus, won just over a grand, and is now having trouble cashing out.

They claim his ID is unreadable, I've seen the emails he's sent, they couldn't be any clearer.
