Claiming multiple bonuses at one casino group

Sorry to start a new thread on this, but I have lost track of a previous thread where one of the members here was complaining about this subject regarding the Casino Rewards group.

In essence, this is about whether casinos with a policy of "only one bonus per group of casinos" adequately advertise the policy, along with a list of the casinos to which it applies.

I have been into the Casino Rewards sites to check on the issue raised, and this is what I found:

    In the “Promotion Terms and Conditions” (found when you click on Terms and Conditions) the 7th point is as follows;

In the event that you have not made a deposit at this or any other Casino Rewards member casino, you may not redeem more than one sign up bonus within the Casino Rewards network, regardless of the individual casino offering the sign up bonus.

The Terms and Conditions are exactly the same for each site within the group.

There is also a Casino Rewards “Loyalty Program” icon at the bottom of each Home page, where the player can identify the partner sites in the group.

I would like to canvas views on this as a matter of interest.

My own view is that this is not sufficiently upfront and specific to constitute a fair warning.

I think this important bonus condition, which can be used to disqualify player winnings and bonuses, should be specifically highlighted on the appropriate part of the site, together with a full list of the group casinos to which it applies.

Ableit CR do have the clause about bonuses, however, the problem stems imo from their mailers.

At the bottom of each mailer they have links to each casino, each casino on the mailer offers you a signup bonus.

Now if one was not aware of the T&C's pertain to one bonus claim allowed from all CR casino's, then one could possible get caught by this advertising.

A simple solution is to not include these casino bonuses. Alternatively include them but state in black & white, that only one bonus can be claimed from one casino from the CR group.

What I have trouble understanding is that really there is no need for these casino bonuses 6to be listed on the mailer in the first place. One would only be receiving their (Casino Rewards) mailer if they already held an account. Hence the casino already is aware that this player is ineligable for a bonus at any other CR casino.

This only adds to the frustration and fuels the notion that CR are playing semantics.

As this is not stated, I start to question why and imo this is where & why people are of the opinion that CR are purposely putting this stuff in their mailers to screw people over & void all winnings.

Which is excacly why I unsubscribed to the mail spam from Casino Rewards....
But Golden Palace also needs to mentioned in this topic. Besides the mail
spam, when visiting the web-page you get the annoying pop-up where you can visit a sister casino. If you do you are then presented with a sign-up bonus from a sister site which you can not use since you allready are a player at Golden Casino. So why waste my time sending me to that page?

Casino Rewards' actions can only be a deliberate ploy to fool players.

There is no excuse to offering promotions & allowing players to sign-up & deposit to multiple sites, knowing full well this will be used as a reason to confiscate funds later.

I already have them 'blacklisted' on my site & hope to see them 'rogued' at every watchdog site ASAP...

How the hell did that happen?

Though, it's not a bad thing from a players perspective. I feel CR may now have to clean their act up so to speak. Then again time will tell I guess.

Wow, they told me that they were working on getting accredited a few months ago, but I didn't believe it would ever happen.

What CR does, and does well, is encourage players to sign up accounts at each of their casinos, and they lure them in with the bonuses.

I've read this sentence 20 times and I'm still not 100% sure what it means. If you have made a deposit at one of the casinos you can redeem more than one sign-up bonus? I presume it's supposed to just stop you redeeming more than one bonus & the weird wording is to cover people who'd played when the terms were different... but as long ago as I can remember there was a term saying you could only claim one bonus. At that time, however, there was actually no problem claiming bonuses at all of the casinos.

If they're serious about being a reputable eCOGRA-approved group of casinos they should of course make it absolutely explicit that they only want you to claim one bonus - though that makes a mockery of boasting of being a group of casinos offering players rewards - what on earth's the point of this site if you're restricted to one casino? Casino Rewards Premier Online Casino Loyalty Program :: Casino Rewards :: casinorewards.com

Sadly we all know they want players to sign-up and claim as many bonuses as possible at the different casinos. That leaves the casinos in a win-win position. Either they make a profit fairly, or the player wins and they then confiscate the winnings.

I have accounts at nearly all of the CR casinos before they were grouped under the CR umbrella but havent paid them a visit for ages. Do the sign-up bonuses have to be redeemed through the CR website. If so, how can the second or subsequent sign-up bonuses be successfully redeemed as they surely know that it is the same person who is claiming them?

This means that where their casinos offer a 'free $10 - no deposit required' type of bonus, you can only claim it at one casino unless you've made a deposit with that group. It doesn't have anything to do with deposit-based sign-up bonuses (but they'll probably only let you claim a couple of those anyway).

I'm basing this on how it was when I played there, which was a couple of years ago. I'm pretty sure it's just there to stop people taking free chips without ever making a deposit. From the way it's worded, there's no way it could be invoked if you've ever actually made a deposit at any of their casinos.
