    Crystal Palace - when a string is not a string!

    I got a CD & letter by snail-mail from Crystal Palace.
    So I opened it up and it said:-
    We're giving you $100 comps absolutely free with no strings attached! *
    * Conditions apply

    Sounded too good to be true, but I checked the T&C's anyway:-
    To cash out you must wager the bonus x60 (Hmmm.. sounds a bit stringy!)
    Roulette, Baccarat & Craps do not count (Has a slight odor of string...)
    Blackjack & Video poker only count 50% (There's an element of string in there too!)

    Obviously Crystal Palace have a different definition of 'No strings attached' to the rest of the world!

    I'd hate to take one of their other bonuses that DOES have strings!

    PS: And another thing - I wouldn't trust their craps either - there's something mighty strange about their dice! To start with the 2 is opposite the 3 and the spots layout is well weird!
    From their homepage:-

    Wink

    Got the same letter from Crystal Palace. I thought what the Hell,"no buy in needed". So I ran the dysk, got my $100, and started playing pai gai poker. I had very good luck. MY WR was $5000 or 50 times the bonus. When I hit it I was up $600. Cashed out $500, and lost the other $100. Got a check in ten days.

    WTG!
    Don't get me wrong - this is a generous bonus - and I'll be having a go at it later.
    My only complaint was about their 'no strings' when there obviously are!

    how do they survive with such a bad rep? Just about every gambling site out there lists them as a nasty.

    How can you decide to go at crystal palace when you know almost for sure that if you win you wont get paid?
