Me thinks I'm being fooled here since Vortran and I were in the studio doing this week's webcast when this post appeared. And the "real" Vortran would know the answer to these questions. But I will oblige and answer these here.

Vortran appeared at my doorstep during a tour of Germany in March 2001. He agreed to do an interview since he claimed he was a "casino robot" that could beat any casino game except for slots. He decided to stay when he found out how good the beer was here. He was on the first webcast show back then, but didn't reappear on the show until about a year later giving out his casino warnings (I had to find something for him to do). It was during my absence in July 2002 (vacation) that he went rogue on me (he subscribed my email address to cyber porn) and I had to reprogram him. He is only a warning robot now, and is not allowed to go online without my supervision.

But Vortran knows this.

You love Brontë because as you told me "She is one hot mama" and that she doesn't talk much and she is a model. This may seem a little superficial, but that's acceptable for robots.

Aha. Damn. Rumbled. I confess, i kidnapped Vortran's BBS identity in the vain hope that i could get the CM to reveal that in fact, Vortran was an imposter clad in a metallic mask. Having listened to the latest Radio CM broadcast, i now realise that in fact, Vortran does exist and would like to offer the safe return of the BBS identity to its rightful owner. All i ask is that i can enter the CM Witness Protection program so as to not be discovered and forever persecuted. Deal?
