Just wonderng if this was normal

I wanted to change the password on my High Noon Casino account as its one I usally put money in. Anyhowww when I asked on the live chat how one goes about this. They told me, they would ring me - I could tell them what I wanted my new password to be, and they would tap it in.

Actually I havent had to do this before, tell a CSR the password I wanted and frankly, it makes me a little uneasy. Is this the norm? Just curious.

    Cheers

Definitely NOT the way to do it.
Whoever you tell it to, will have full access to your account. This is not "just" a matter of not having money stolen, but your account could be used for other things, aka money laundry etc.
By failing to prepare you are preparing to fail.

    Definitely not the norm.

There's a quite lengthy thread http://www.casinomeister.com/forums/...quirement.html you might find of interest, bu the short answer is DON'T GIVE OUT YOUR PASSWORD.

You can private message the Clubworld rep http://www.casinomeister.com/forums/...clubworld.html and ask his assistance. I can't see where to change it myself.

    I thought as much..

I mean why would they need to put in my new password? Plus the fact my credit card details are in my account... so yeah, really uneasy

Don't ever sign up for a sportsbook account if you don't like revealing your password. It's the norm in that industry to give out passwords in chat/over the phone/etc.

I'll def take your advice and NOT sign up for one of those places.

That's a good point bpb, when I first started playing sportsbooks I wondered why that was. I still do kinda wonder, however I've never had any problems. That's not to say I'm crazy about the method.
