Do webmasters need graphic designers?

Hi,
I am so confused with this casino business...I have a quick question. Do webmasters need graphic designers that do casino specific graphics or not anymore??
The reason im asking is because im a graphic designer. I worked for EHNV (all the properties) and have allot of experience in casino promotional material. Im now working alone and want to see if there is a market out there with the good old webmasters?? can someone please let me know if there is? and if there is, where or how do I make contact?

I think that the answer to your question is yes. I am an aspiring new webmaster and I will need an artist to create some graphics for my site in the near future. I can program, but I couldn't draw a pretty picture to save my life!

A place that you may want to check out is elance.com. It is my understanding that many webmasters seek graphic designers there.

I've noticed that many webmasters do need graphic designers, just by submitting a question, I got many replies to my personal e-mail for work ....I do appreciate your feedback. Every little bit of information helps.

Hi Splashgirl,

Sorry for not getting to this. I was on the road when you posted this.

My answer is - it all depends. I do all of the graphics here (take that for what it's worth) and it's all self taught. I picked up a copy of Photoshop years ago and a couple of Photoshop books and taught myself everything I needed to know. I also frequented a couple of webdesign newsgroups which I don't even know exist anymore.

You'd be amazed at what you can learn with tutorials. It's what makes webmastering fun.

Thanks for getting back to me. Yeah, Im sure that 80% of the webmasters are photoshop handy. Im surprised that I got so may replies...it just means that IM STILL NEEDED!! =0)
