Question What would you expect from your casino affiliate program?

Hi all, due to the complains we've been watching of casino affiliates, i would like to ask you all , what do you expect from your affiliate program ?

    - Comission Percentage
    - Pay rate: every month, every week
    - Minimum payment: 50$, 100$
    - Tier Program: 1 tier ? 5 tier ? 10 tier ?
    - Payment dates: 1st, 7th, 15th of each month ?
    - Customer service: livechat or email support ?

Or any other figure which you consider that can be valued for yourself which you think is missing on casino affiliate programs....

I would expect you to spell 'complains' correctly (even if you are Spanish) and post in the right section for starters..

I would also hope that you would only represent reliable, trustworthy & honest casinos and not send any players to rip-off joints...

An open and honest personal relationship.

Yes the commission and commission structure is of great value, but when it comes to service I would rate a personal email from the affiliate manager, much higher than a support desk.

If you look at the industry and what singles out affiliate programs from one another there is always some that stand out because they understand the value of affiliates in the PR of their companies. They understand that the affiliates play a leading role in resolving disputes. Further they understand that affiliates are worth every dime they get paid and do not see them as vultures taking a piece of their pie I had to get that shot in...

If there is one thing that also stands out it is the guidance new affiliates receive in promoting an affiliate program or the casinos an affiliate program promotes. Often new affiliates fail because they lack the leadership on how to promote a specific brand. Informing affiliates what the intention is of the brand (target market, demographics, recency, conversion targets etc.) In general with most affiliate programs all these factors needs to be calculated by the affiliate, but the affiliate program has much more information in this regard to assist the affiliates in making better judgment calls.

Good point. I think that some affiliate managers forget that they are dealing with webmasters - and webmasters need to constantly hone their skills in creating the stickiness of their websites. Who needs a thousand portals? What we need as an online community are quality sites that advocate creativity.

And never forget that you're not just selling shoes. There is a great deal of responsibility involved when it comes to promoting gambling websites. Do not expose your affiliates to promoting illegal activity. Make sure your affiliates know the law concerning revenue share marketing. Don't let your affiliate be the fall guy

More a key for me is how the casinos that the aff program represents treats their players. Fast payouts, good promos etc mean the casinos are better propositions. Of course one expects the aff program to be at least "industry standard" in its approach, but if the casino is crap, players won't stick, so there is less inclination to review it

Great point. Some of the super affiliates and the small fish like me would rather link their reputations to reliable and strong casinos.
