I have had overnight my politics forum wiped out, due to a vunerability in phpbb - Make sure you keep updated on all security updates announced. Major pain - But also highlights the need for daily backups - currently in the middle of a 200MB DB Restore

Yes it was. Luckily I have a good backup policy in place, so no harm done, other than it ruining my Sunday.

I have subsequently updated and patched all phpbb forums I have.
