WorldSports Exchange will not Honor Promises

World Poker Exchange has a frequent player program where they reward you points for your play in the pokerroom. These are called FPP's and on the website it says this is what you can do with them:

"The points are yours to use for designated events, including but not limited to selected tournaments, freeroll tournaments, merchandise, sports wagers, and any additional uses offered by World Poker Exchange."

So I wanted to find out how I could convert them into some sportsbook wagers. I contacted customer service and this is what they said:

Oriel: i'm sorry but we dont offer that option

Me: It says on the website that they can be turned into sportsbook wagers

Oriel: one min please

Me: From the website: "The points are yours to use for designated events, including but not limited to selected tournaments, freeroll tournaments, merchandise, sports wagers, and any additional uses offered by World Poker Exchange."

Me: sports wagers...there it is

Oriel: we apologise for that, it is a mistake made by our webmaster and which he will have to correct

Me: what about merchandise is that a mistake as well?

Oriel: , yes as the merchandise is not yet available for purchase using the fpps

Me: It doesn't seem fair that you will not honor something that you have said on you're website

Oriel: it is not that we will not, but that we cannot since the is no procedure put in place to handle this

Oriel: I am very sorry for missleading you

So basically they are advertising a service and not holding up to their promise because there is no "procedure" in place. I will not continue to do business here if this is the way they operate.

It seems rather clear that they're simply waiting to get the merchandise in stock or something else like that.

The sports wagers, though.... if they decide to actually do that, I'll start playing on wpex.
