Will there be an NFL lockout in 2011?

Owners are going to approve a 18 game schedule for 2012...

Now i think that this is going players to push for more incentives for themselves as nfl contracts are a joke for players in that they arent guaranteed like nba and mlb..

Will there be a nfl lockout in 2011, causing some games to be missed?

signing and roster bonuses et al are guaranteed and actually there are ways to circumvent the CBA but basically your statement is fair (keeping it simple). And I will not even get into how the salary cap works with the referenced structure of contracts. 2010 uncapped, yes?

Yes, and the Owners are the one's locking out the Players. So who has the leverage, the Owners for multiple reasons including but not limited to the fact that the average NFL playing career is 3 1/2 years.

Hiya: So What? There are a lot of Jobs where the avg. is even less than 3.5 years long. Homeowner Association Management as example, is only 2 years long on average, "from management class i attended in 1999 in hawaii". The average police officer stays less than 3 years. Hell, when was the last time you saw the same Bank Teller for more than a year or two?

It is funny because a player can, "out play their contract", and demand a new one. But if a player, "grossly under plays their contract", so what? They are laughing all the way to the bank..............

PS; What is even more funny is when they said this, and then do that.
Right Hand: I am blessed. "points to the sky"...............
Left Hand: Thanks for blessing me. "points to the sky again". Now I am off to screw the Fan Base, and force the Owners to keep raising ticket prices to pay me the Millions That I deserve, You Know, because I am Blessed.......

Players Prayer: Dear God, Thanks for Blessing me with all this talent, and thanks for helping someone to invent steroids. Thankyou, But, My Agent & I will take it from here.....
