    $100 Million??

I was surfing for some sportsbooks with the best contests for the world cup and came accross one that is offering $100 Million to anyone who can predict all 64 of the World Cup matches.

I thought it was a misprint but sure as hell it wasnt .

Titan Bet is offering a prize of a USD$100,000,000 Titan Bet account credit to participants in the Competition who correctly predict the result of all 64 matches at the FIFA World Cup in South Africa, 2010.

Now that is a contest worth entering but ofc no USA allowed.

The question i have is if someone wins the whole $100 Million and the site has lets say a $5K a week max cashout how the heck is someone gonna live long enough to collect there winnings.

they could live untill they were 117 and they would never see one cent of 100 million dollars. to even offer such a prize is nonsense even if the odds are impossible. there is no way in hell anyone would ever pay up on a 100 million dollar prize...
i consider myself a big "player" not a big "gambler". there is a big difference...

So true, but then when someone happens to hit it, then their business goes down the drain

Its not just guessing the 64 winners, you also have to guess the score of each game. Partybets is running this promo too, Think its free to enter. And you can be pretty sure if you win it at party you will get paid

The lowest odds on any correct score are usually at least 5/1, meaning the probability of getting one score right is less than 1/6. The probability of getting all 64 scores right is less than 1 in 10^50, which is about the same as winning the lottery 7 weeks in a row with a single ticket. Just dig a hole in your back garden, you have better chances of finding an undiscovered gold mine there than winning this competition.

The person closest to guessing all the teams will still win $1 million so it is worth participating in I think. I found a hilarious commercial for it on youtube! Pretty darn funny right?

The betting company will have taken out insurance on the bet, presumably with a very big insurance company (or several). The insurance probably didn't even cost that much since the odds of someone winning are so long.
