Sharks Take Game 1

The San Jose Sharks take down the defending western conference champion Detroit Redwings in game one of the Western Conference semi-finals by the score of 4-3.

It will be a tough hill to climb for hockeytown in this series, San Jose is well rested and the best team left in the NHL playoffs. I hope the Wings can at least make a series out of it.

Not looking good for Hockeytown.

They blew a 3-2 lead going into the 3rd period in game 2 and had 9 freakin penaltys as San Jose won game 2 by the same 4-3 score.

As much as it pains me to say but i think you can put a fork in the Wings for this year.
