Delhomme Cut by Panthers, Vick next?

Panthers should just stick with Matt Moore, but i wonder if they think about bringing in Vick.

I would say ball control QB who is going to protect the ball and let the RBs take care of business. No turnovers, no silly interceptions. Have someone who can throw to Smith, and control the clock.

Vick would mean way too many distractions, not worth it at all.

I've been a Panthers fan before Delhomme ever came along. The Panthers are a very conservative team. I can't see there being any way they bring in some convicted violent felon who has proven nothing since getting out of jail other than he has a big mouth. Moore is 6-2 lifetime as a starter and has some of the best stats for any starter in their first 8 games. I think they give him a chance. Besides the Eagles have been trying to trade McNabb, not Vick. It would seem Vick will take over the job in Philly if they get any takers. Vick isn't worth anything, nobody wants him.

Moore is going to be the starter, and with your running game, Smith, and the D - the prospects are looking good.

A real sudden wild card is what's going on with the salary cap and how teams are going to react...
