Here's some more interesting tidbits. The largest racing stables in the US, stud farms etc are owned by the ruler of Dubai, who also owns operations in the UK and Australia. His brothers/nephews etc. also own large operations in the US. The owner of 7(I believe) of the racetracks in the US plus an online betting site (legit) is Magna Entertainment. The owner, Frank Stronach is Canadian. He also has a large breeding operation in Florida.

Just a few little tidbits for thought.

Good ole Frank has his hands in everything. He has a very reputable auto parts plant here which is doing extremely well.

Correct. I don't think his racetrack idea is working all that well though. I think he was betting on slot machines and didn't happen. He bought Lone Star Park here in Texas with the idea of getting slots and it isn't going to happen. I'm not knocking him or the Sheik but that's where the money it.
