Winward vs Rome Partners

Happy Holidays to all my CM friends. It has been awhile...........

I have heard from both sides on this matter. I had accounts with both entities. I will share what I have been told. In the beginning I played primarily at Diamond VIP one of the Rome sites because I had good luck, got VIP treatment and great bonuses. Then gradually as I won, the bonuses stopped and/or the wagering requirements went through the roof. I found my way to Winward where I originally had only a 12x wagering requirement and fully cashable bonuses. Over time it increased to 18x and now is 25x but still fully cashable.

Rome representative called me about 2 weeks ago to tell me of the "criminal" acts against them by Top Game because they were "creating 80% of the Top Game volume" . Went on to trash Winward up and down.

When I next logged on to Winward, I spoke with my account manager who confirmed that Winward had taken over the former Rome Partners casinos. He offered me the same VIP program I had at Winward for my play at any of the former Rome casinos.

I don't know how this is going to play out --- but the VIP programs and payouts through Winward have exceeded the Rome programs for quite awhile.

FWIW,

Hi Diane.

Nice to see you again :)

With the greatest respect, the only reason you ever received good treatment at either group is because you're a high roller (hope you don't mind me saying that as you've told us your status previously).

Personally, I think BOTH groups should be avoided like the plague.

Welcome back. I was just thinking about you the other day. Almost started a post to ask if anyone has heard from you. Hope all is well with you and your family.

Hi Diane! :)

Your post is interesting, especially the part that they confirm that Winward took over. They normally don't admit this.

You can read this one too, it's about Rome Partners filed a criminal complaint against Top Game/Winward:

Old / Expired Link

I know that you can't play at many different softwares, but why you can't stay away from these types of casinos is to me very strange.

For the record, Winward continues to spam me, with emails with my username on it, for closed accounts. This started a while back, and now they spam me about the Rome/Diceland accounts as well.

Please Diane, place your bets at other places. I remember that you had some RTG luck earlier. There's a lot of accredited RTG casinos. :)

Hello Nifty -
Thank you, its nice to be back.

I also thank you for the respect, we may differ in opinions, but it is ALWAYS with respect between us. I appreciate that.

No, I don't mind the "high roller" comment, it is true that I probably play higher than most and it does come with perqs at online sites just as it does in B&M casinos. With my level of experience and time spent gambling, I do know the "buyer beware" mentality and I am cautious, saving all chats, and offer details........that's why I could see some of this unfolding as the Rome group seemed to get more desperate for depositors. I have played at some of the other Top Games sites such as Black Diamond and Box 24, but I don't like the max bet limits of $6.50 if you take a bonus, screw up and its a big problem as others have posted. However, I also like Top Games feature that allows you to play up to 8 games at once if you wanted to.

Winward, especially has treated me well ------- but as you pointed out and others have in past, there are more than enough BAD experiences reported to outweigh my solo voice here.

Cleveland,

Yes, all is well. Just been crazy. Decided to semi-retire and start my own business after 35 years in the corporate world. Having fun, but working way too hard. 2 of my kids have joined me in the business and its a ball sharing it with them and training them. I am trying to cram as much as I can in during the few years left that I want to work.

Hope all is well with you/yours.

Hi Maphesto,
Yes, they confirmed that they took over the sites and that they are being dragged through the muck/mire by Rome Partners. Thank you for the reference to the article which I have read.

Our choices in the US for software have improved, but still are nowhere near what the non-US players can access. Top Game software is enjoyable to me and has treated me well. I have not been burned yet, but I take nothing for granted and remain vigilant -- I know that these warnings are valid from others experiences and I appreciate your concern for me. I continue to play across many software platforms and sites for variety. Other than Winward and formerly Diamond VIP - all were on the accredited list. Accredited casinos by CM are all that I recommend to others without reservation.

Regards,
Diane

PS.............I have been called "strange" before................LOL....

Top Game ----- Black Diamond

How do you all feel about Top Game software available through Slots Capital (not sure what the overall group is called.....) under the Casino named Black Diamond.?

That I assume is an acceptable option to play those Top Game video slots but avoid the concerns expresses regarding Winward, Diamond VIP etc.
