The most profitable gambling keywords?

Trying to figure out which keywords to use for my website, so would like to hear some examples.

Depends on your budget I suppose, but the most profitable are probably 'Online Casino' or similar variations. Try to be inventive I say, if you were a player who knew little to nothing about a Casino, what would you search for? Game names, trusted brands, certain deposit methods, etc...

The most profitable are the likes of online casino, casino online, online gambling, casinos etc etc

But you have slim to no chance of ranking for those terms, unless you have a huge budget and a very well established site.

Go for long tail terms and lots of them. They are easier to rank for and convert far better.

I think it depends on many things such as the age of the site and your back link profile.

If its a relatively young site its worth using your top keywords in your seo tactics, but use the majority of your time targeting the low-hanging fruit.

25% of all searches are first-time searches so there is plenty of low-hanging fruit like branded games or variations of keywords using bonus and/or codes or offers.

60% of all conversions come from these searches (the 25%)

If its an ages site with healthy back links then I would look at improving your internal site structure to optimise for the links that you do have.

For instance if you have an unusual amount of links to an internal page using the same anchor text and the index page you may want to use a 301 and recreate the actual content on the page on another and redirect your navigation. You may even want to test internal nofollows to see if you can earn few spots.

The tactics for the latter are significantly different because if you are targeting the top keywords you need an entirely different strategy.

Either way you go be sure your have absolut keyword silo's (clear navigation for robots and users), xml sitemaps, and a robots.txt file.
