I'll assume that expanding wilds gave you the max payout of 50,000 time line bet eu-lowroller. Must have been a real thrill.

I wonder how these caps affect payout ratios?

The limit is not per bet, but bet per line, per spin. 50,000x line bet for all the Real Series slots to the best of my knowledge, but happens on paydirt other slots with expanding wilds from time to time.
