Hey all,

I thought I would start a new thread for killer hits on one line bets.
I'll start things off, again you may only use ONE LINE.

Can you fill me in on the first screenshot..if you have that high of a balance, why are you doing one line bets for $0.10? Extend playtime? Do one line bets pay more often?

I sometimes do 10-15 lines, but never ever one line. I was just wondering why?

The 198 includes the 100$ win, so the original balance was 98.

Part of it is extended playtime, another part is a personal opinion and responsible gaming for me.

When I play one line, it needs to be a game that makes sense for it like free spins and no stacked symbols. In a game like that, you can't win on every line anyways and scatters pay everywhere even though only a single line is active.

This makes the game higher variance too which means the swings are larger, but the maximum win (per line) is still just as great. Ergo, the best way to place a bet on a game with a negative expected return is to make the smallest (or no) wager.

This way, I can't lose enough to care about losing, but when I win it sure as hell feels good.

EDIT: RTG also carries a 50000x line bet win CAP which is independent of the number of lines played, so one line makes more sense too since you'll never hit that on one, IMO

im sorry but i just cant stand one line bets i think its a waste of time - im sure you have had numerous sayings to yourself crap i shoulda bet more lines lol

oh tatoo - I can't say I've never said NO! wrong payline.
But thats the thing, the depends on how much 'action' you need.

There are different levels of satisfaction that come from different styles of play. One line play is certainly not without it's own frustrations and can become boring after some levels of play. In some regards, this I am OK with because I'll go into a casino and play a little bit on the slots like this, eventually moving onto poker or something else.
