The story of Juda is not history... it is religious mythology. You do not seem to be able to tell the difference between real history and religious myth... Is that scary or sad? Sad I think.

Your analogy of Obama and Chamberlain/Hitler and Kadafi to some biblical reference makes absolutely no sense at all as there are no correlations between the real individuals and mythological individual and absolutely no similarities between historical events and the mythical Biblical events that any serious historian would recognize.

Again I am not a partisan, I am an American.
FYI - I did not vote for President Obama. I voted for Ron Paul.

The problem you Obama haters have is that you all hate the man so much that you and your TV talk show leaders will latch on to anything, no matter how stupid, trivial or unrelated it is in an effort to hurt the current President of the United States...

Maybe if the Obama haters ever came up with anything REAL I might change my mind about President Obama. But right now he is doing a good job in my book, a LOT better than the last guy did.

REALITY CHECK... Hurting the president can and does hurt the Country... But the Obama haters just don't seem to care about the country, all the Obama Haters care about is 'getting Obama'... and they make me sick.

I guess I just don't get the attitude that because the neo-con's lost the election, fair and square (unlike the Supreme Court selection/election of 2000) that they now get to try to bring down the president and the country with him... all in hopes that they will get the political power they lost back.
Lots0, you and i have a mutual respect for one another and i respect your veiws, i really do, its not that i hate Obama, hate is such an ugly word, i just dont like the way he all of a sudden popped onto the political venue, out of no where, he does not have the leadership to run a country imo, hell , i wish Ron Paul would have won.

I do not like the Acorn issue
I do not like socialism
i do not like over spending with tax payers dollars
I do not like the goverment having that much control over my pocketbook
I do not like more goverment
I do not like goverment waste
I do not like all these Czars
I do not like his Chicago friends, too much influence, i think

I do like being able to see a first African American President in my life time

I do like the fact he says he wants to bring home the troops, doesnt look like that will happen soon

I dont hate the President and i do respect the office that he holds, i just dont like the road he is leading us down , he needs to be working with everyone, just not the party he is with

I really dislike that Nancy P. btw , can we agree on that?

laurie

Did you notice I edited my post to take out the personal references? I did not mean for the post to be personal so I edited it. sorry.

YOU know we agree on almost everything in your list except for the Socialism and Nancy P.

Socialism has helped a lot of people. My folks and Grandparents were on Medicare, a form of socialism, and it did perdy good for them.
Regulating the big Utility Companies is a form of Socialism... and I'm glad those blood suckers are regulated. So I don't mind a little Socialism, as long as it it is overseen by a strong Democracy.

As far as Nancy P. goes... I got the hots for her...
She tries to hide it but she is totally stacked... Given 1/2 a chance... I'd rock her world...

I would have rather seen a Native as President myself... But the Country has a very very long way to go before that will happen.

It's nice to see your willing to give Barrack Obama a longer rope to hang us then most of us are willing. I'm certain over time you're opinion will change. Some of us take longer then others to recognize an empty suit.

As far as you favoring government run utilities, you might be the only one I know of that thinks it's a good idea. Once again I'm certain your opinion will change when these nuts Boxer and company pass the cap and trade energy bill. Maybe you'll be one of the people that have to shut down their computer trying to conserve; since the estimated cost increase per family will be $1800.00 dollars per year. Who in gods name do you think is going to pay for all the trillions being spent?

With all this insane spending he's doing, and telling us that he's going to somehow give health insurance to millions of now uninsured people and yet lower the cost for all of us; I have to assume you already drank the cool-aid and it's to late to try and knock basic financial sense into your head.

He is even considering now a second stimulus bill after realizing how well the first one is working out. The number of jobs lost last month was the worst since records were kept, and unemployment hit a new high of 9.8% and still climbing. Since he could just print the money I guess everything should just be fine.

Then on the other hand I keep forgetting it's all because of Bush. Bush made some bad turns, but all Obama had to do was right the ship. Instead he pushed the throttle all the way down and poked his eyes out. I heard David Letterman tonight is going to explain his deviant sexual behavior was a result of Bush, and being influenced by Palins daughter.

I hope your able to get good medical care for the cool-aid you drank, and suspect one day you'll stop watching Keith Olbermann.

Don't know many people do ya? Most people think regulating utilities is a good thing... that is why they are regulated.

No President Obama is not considering another stimulus package. The first one has not even been all used yet...

How about for a real change you get your facts straight for once, just once... and stop making things up. Believe me there is enough real bad stuff out their that you right wing Obama Haters should focus on, that you don't need to keep making stuff up.

You want people to take your side... quit making stuff up and coming up with these crazy arguments and even more wacky analogies.

The information you have is totally bogus and your arguments are crazy ill focused and rambling.

Discussing politics with you is like trying to talk religion to the unwashed guy on the street corner with tin foil hat and the big sign that says "REPENT the world is ending today"...

I promised myself I would stay away from the Political posts. I wished I would have followed up on that... "Why can't we all agree to disagree?" You have your opinions , Bless you heart, and I have mine. But anyone who does not agree with you and states there reasons why, you make it personal with a hostile tone to it.I respect your opinions and like to read what your views are , but it gets very fuzzy doing that when there are to many personal insults in them. Also, as far as " Hate" goes, I don't hate anyone. Not even Michael Moore.

The $787 billion stimulus bill was passed in February and was promised as a job saver and economy booster. Here is where some of the money went:

- $300,000 for a GPS-equipped helicopter to hunt for radioactive rabbit droppings at the Hanford nuclear reservation in Washington state.

- $30 million for a spring training baseball complex for the Arizona Diamondbacks and Colorado Rockies.

- $11 million for Microsoft to build a bridge connecting its two headquarter campuses in Redmond, Wash., which are separated by a highway.

- $430,000 to repair a bridge in Iowa County, Wis., that carries 10 or fewer cars per day.

- $800,000 for the John Murtha Airport in Johnstown, Pa., serving about 20 passengers per day, to build a backup runway.

- $219,000 for Syracuse University to study the sex lives of freshmen women.

- $2.3 million for the U.S. Forest Service to rear large numbers of arthropods, including the Asian longhorned beetle, the nun moth and the woolly adelgid.

- $3.4 million for a 13-foot tunnel for turtles and other wildlife attempting to cross U.S. 27 in Lake Jackson, Fla.

- $1.15 million to install a guardrail for a persistently dry lake bed in Guymon, Okla.

- $9.38 million to renovate a century-old train depot in Lancaster County, Pa., that has not been used for three decades.

- $2.5 million in stimulus checks sent to the deceased.

- $6 million for a snow-making facility in Duluth, Minn.

- $173,834 to weatherize eight pickup trucks in Madison County, Ill.

- $20,000 for a fish sperm freezer at the Gavins Point National Fish Hatchery in South Dakota.

- $380,000 to spay and neuter pets in Wichita, Kan.

- $300 apiece for thousands of signs at road construction sites across the country announcing that the projects are funded by stimulus money.

- $1.5 million for a fence to block would-be jumpers from leaping off the All-American Bridge in Akron, Ohio.

- $1 million to study the health effects of environmentally friendly public housing on 300 people in Chicago.

- $356,000 for Indiana University to study childhood comprehension of foreign accents compared with native speech.

- $983,952 for street beautification in Ann Arbor, Mich., including decorative lighting, trees, benches and bike paths.

- $148,438 for Washington State University to analyze the use of marijuana in conjunction with medications like morphine.

- $462,000 to purchase 22 concrete toilets for use in the Mark Twain National Forest in Missouri

- $3.1 million to transform a canal barge into a floating museum that will travel the Erie Canal in New York state.

- $1.3 million on government arts jobs in Maine, including $30,000 for basket makers, $20,000 for storytelling and $12,500 for a music festival.

- $71,000 for a hybrid car to be used by student drivers in Colchester, Vt., as well as a plug-in hybrid for town workers decked out with a sign touting the vehicle's energy efficiency.

- $1 million for Portland, Ore., to replace 100 aging bike lockers and build a garage that would house 250 bicycles
