This will make you re-think: A Trivia question in Sunday School:
How long is the beast allowed to have authority in Revelations?

Revelations Chapter 13 tells us it is 42 months, and you know what that is.
Almost a four-year term of a Presidency.

All I can say is 'Lord, Have mercy on us!'

According to The Book of Revelations the anti-Christ is: The anti-Christ will
be a man, in his 40's, of MUSLIM descent, who will deceive the nations with
persuasive language, and have a MASSIVE Christ-like appeal....the prophecy says
that people will flock to him and he will promise false hope and world peace,
and when he is in power, will destroy everything..

Do we recognize this description??

I STRONGLY URGE each one of you to post this a s many times as
you can! Each opportunity that you have to send it to a friend or media outlet do it!
I refuse to take a chance on this unknown candidate who came out of nowhere.

As I was listening to a news program last night, I watched in horror as Barrack Obama made the statement with pride. . .'we are no longer a Christian nation; we are now a nation of Christians, Jews, Muslims, Buddhists, . . ...' As with so many other statements I've heard him (and his wife) make, I never thought I'd see the day that I'd hear something like that from a presidential candidate in this nation. To think our forefathers fought and died for the right for our nation to be a Christian nation--and to have this man say with pride that we are no longer that. How far this nation has come from what our founding fathers intended it to be.


I hope that each of you will do what I'm doing now--send your concerns, written simply and sincerely, to the Christians on your email list. With God's help, and He is still in control of this nation and all else, we can show this man and the world in November that we are, indeed, still a Christian nation!

Please pray for our nation! And Please VOTE – Christian’s DO have a Voice!

thanks g.m, i was reading in the bible and there is nothing that states muslim, in his 40's ect, i did find the 40 and two months in chapter 13 but i also found in the snopes link, one of my favorites ,from the gospel of mathew,......."watch out for false prophets, they come to you in sheeps clothing, but inward they are ferocious wolve's".....................laurie

i have the good book right here tom, i have searched and searched, please tell me where there is a reference to the anti- christ being a man in his 40s of muslim decent, i did find as i said in verse (5) the reference to the 40 and 2 months, i just want to know where the good doctor found the other at?

I totally agree Bryan. I don't care which candidate people are voting for, but you have to be alarmed by the level of ignorance and hate that is becoming apparent. Just like I said in the Assassination thread, I would have hoped that we as a society would have evolved further than this....but I guess not.

And I still say the only way to change it, is to educate our children properly. And teach them NOT to hate. Kids are born innocent, they aren't born with hate in their hearts. That is a learned response, and sadly.....most times they learn it from their parents. So far, I've been blessed as far as my daughter goes. She is generous, caring and truly sweet. We saw a news report on tv re: the Obama assassination thing...and she asked me why anyone would want to kill him. When I said "because he's black", she was just dumbfounded, and said "well those people are just silly then". She is colour blind, and that makes me very happy.

i agree with you 100% about how we should teach our children pina, what upset me so about this thread was someone trying to take the holy bible and distort the truth and to make falseness out of it, i was not only upset as a christian but as a voter, even though i am not voting for obama, there are people running amuck using the scare factor, when if they did read their bible , they would know what the dr. said in the email was the un- truth and by forwarding them to others, who may not take the time to read the chapter at hand will think its the gospel when in fact its not.................. i didnt have to go to snopes first but to the truth itself to see what was said was wrong and being used for their own benifit, which is wrong but also sinful..................these emails are poison......................laurie
