Full Tilt poker and other online casinos "MUST READ"

RECENTLY HAD ISSUES WITH FULL TILT CLOSING MY ACCOUNT. AFTER WEEKS OF NO RESPONSE FROM CUSTOMER SUPPORT I FILED A COMPLAINT WITH THE KAHNAWAKEE GAMING COMMISSION WITHIN 20 MINTUES OF THE COMPLAINT FULL TILT WAS IN CONTACT WITH ME AND MY ACCOUNT WAS REOPENED ABOUT 2 HOURS LATER. I PUT THIS ON HERE FOR THE FACT THAT MANY CASINOS AND POKER SITES ARE REGULATED BY THE COMMISSION AND IF PROBLEMS DO ARISE DO NO BE SCARED TO CONTACT THE GC THEY WILL HELP YOU OUT TO THE BEST OF THEIR ABILITY. IT WAS VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE AND I HAD TO LET OTHERS KNOW WHAT TO DO IN SUCH A SITUATION BECAUSE AS WE ALL KNOW FULL TILT SUPPORT IS HORRENDOUS AND SO IS MANY OTHER SITES.

Many have had no luck with Kahnawake, but there is certainly no harm in trying.

I complained to them once, and it DID seem to get results, but the casino involved did NOT make any attempt to communicate with me, I found out they had resolved the problem "on the quiet" after 2 months.

Kahnawake DID communicate with me though, and said they were giving the casino concerned 2 weeks to deal with the matter.

Their high dependency on licencing fees makes for a conflict of interest when it comes to them yanking licences, or refusing them in the first place. They did apply to be on the UK whitelist, but the application was turned down by the UK Gambling Commission. This should have been an incentive for them to be more player protection focussed, but little progress has been evident.

They would have a great deal to gain by achieving UK whitelist status, as when they failed, many of their clients jumped ship to be licenced in Malta because this would allow them to ADVERTISE more openly within the EU, something non-whitelisted casinos are not permitted to do.

Always nice to see something positive coming through.

I've been hearing some good things about the KGC over the last few months and it is clear that a big effort is going into improving things there, starting with the formerly uncommunicative and lackadaisical Support.

Time will tell, I guess, but this sort of improvement has to be a good thing. It's taken awhile, but hopefully they've now decided to become more professional.

    Unbelievable horrible customer service!!1

I'm having that issue right now with Full Tilt....been dealing with them for 24 hrs. Can't log in and they won't tell me why because there overwhelmed with emails (wonder why) and you can't talk to them personally. I have sent 9 emails and asked for supervisors...gave them my phone number...ect. I have yet to hear from them. I guess I didn't realize that their customer service is soooooooooo bad!
Is that the best way to resolve this is contacting the KGC, if so, how do I go about doing that?
    Thanks

I said this before and I`ll say it again. KGC has better player protection regulations than any other license.
I also had to just email them, no response from KGC at all, but operator in question refunded me 2x amount very quickly afterwards of what they should have and they ignored me for few days with ease before that.

I dont know if movie Frozen River depicts that real life correctly but this seems to be Mohawk way of doing things. In movie small kid steals CC number from old woman and local sheriff instead of prosecuting anyone takes little boy to that woman and make him apologize to her...

Let us know how this goes - a few people are monitoring the improvements at KGC to ensure they are sustained.

They've done a 180 degree turnaround this past year. I've been quite pleased from what I've seen.

I have been meaning to try out PokerStars but I do have a Full Tilt account and I love their software. The rush poker thing is pretty cool and you can play like 3 times the amount of hands than before. It really makes a big difference. As soon as you fold your hand you are immediately seated at another table with a new hand. There is only one problem with that and that is you cannot learn how your opponents are playing. You pretty much play by odds only.

I also think it's cool to be able to observe the poker pros like Tom Dwan, Patrik Antonius and Phil Ivey live as they play. Oh and they have a free academy for newbies

    full tilt - bogus??

In reply to the post i must say that any complaint should be respectefull to everyone in order to be respected as well. I can post my experience as a amateur poker player playing maybe since 1/2 years. Openned account at full tilt poker with 50$ no deposit offer. In order to withdraw i had to accumulate 1000 FTPoints. At +-800 points had 150$. Out of nowhere i start to loose big. I played small stakes 1$tournaments to 3,75$ turbo. i just coudnt get a winning hand, loose everything in the river, 95% to 0% over and over and over again for about 2 weeks. The only thing i won was a 2º place at a hyperturbo because i just didnt played any hand till the end.
Conclusion: Bad luck? bad humour? lack of focus? i dont think so. percentages just turned crazy(i mean getting someone to go allin after the turn with 5% and they just keep getting that miracle card or two cards-turn + river, over and over again until you get to the point to think if you should get new glasses or new brain). I lost more than the money they gave + the one i won. I lost my time thinking that i was playing fair poker. I get the sensation that tournaments have this script where it has to end fast. New depositors always get luky in the beginning, etc, etc. I could be wrong but i just dont believe in bad or good luck for a long period of time in poker. So start playing at casino or dont donnate money to this sites.

PS: look for "absolute poker 60 minutes" in you tube and you will see another big poker scam made by an ex-poker player, ex-employee of poker site.

Maybe someone should post some good stories about their poker experience. Is there good stories??
