Doyle's Room software won't uninstall and phones home

A while back I got fed up with Doyles Room... way too many bad beats at the ring games and cash tournaments.

So I uninstalled Doyles Room software and asked them to close all my accounts casino/poker room and affiliate.

First thing is that a Doyles room rep told me in an email (copy available) that my accounts were closed... They are NOT closed, as a matter of fact they are ALL still open.

And now I find out that the Doyles Room software did not only NOT un-install but it replicated it's self and created more than a 2000 new folders/ registry entries and about 100 new .ini files on my PC. This is the behavior of a virus, not poker software.

What brought all this to my attention today was my virus software caught Doyles Room software trying to "Phone Home", once again this is after I had uninstalled the software, by using Doyles Room uninstaller.

I have just spent three hours getting my PC clean from this crap...
    BEWARE...

    Regarding the pokeruninstaller

    Hi lots0,

My name is David Miller from Doyles Poker and Casino. After reading your post I would agree if a software had such behavior to call it a virus, however the poker as well as our uninstaller is tested many times prior to the release, and in fact it does perform the complete removal of the system. We have forwarded your inquiry directly to our software provider so that they can perform a statement on your case, but we also suggest to check if your computer could of also had a different issue.

Once we receive the statement I will inform you personally.

    Best Regards,

    Thanks for the PM David.

Glad to hear your taking some action on dealing with the software problem.

Now, how about getting those accounts of mine closed? Thanks.

    cake...

    Funny you should ask....

Actually I thought it was "funny" that the doyle's room rep never asked that question.

It looked to me like either doyles room already knew about the 'problems' or just didn't care enough to do more than blow smoke up my ass.
