I opened an account at PokerAvenue but got a warning about them before I made a deposit. Good thing.
I am 99.999% sure they are dead now. They have not had a single player online in over a month now, there software upgrade they said was coming in April never did, and the Tridx website is still down. All signs point to them up and leaving since they had no players and were broke. I've emailed their support to see what their status was several times but of course nobody replies. Looks like the lights are out. Goodnight, Tridx.

1.9 - Do not register an account fraudulently. Fraudulent accounts are defined as accounts created specifically to flame others (hiding behind a mask of anonymity), or accounts opened primarily to spam the board or to act as shills. Do not register more than one account in the forum. Additional accounts will be deemed as bogus, and you may find yourself out on the sidewalk lying on your back staring at the stars.
ragibm has another account in this forum - actually in this thread. It's uncool to open more than one account here and complain about the same casino/poker room.

Didn't see that coming, eh? I'm just amazed I was able to get some $ back from them, too bad most other people got robbed. Gotta watch out for these small rooms.
These days it seems a good rule of thumb is to just stay away from these upstarts unless the people/corporations behind them are well known
There are so many established poker rooms (even US available) that offer so many options it is just not worth the risk
