Error on my entropay. I lost funds

I had a strange error that makes me worried and was wondering if anyone has experienced the same thing or knows what I should do.

I tried to fund my entropay card today with an amount of 150$ via my original VISA. The transaction failed and it said General error. And one suggestion was that maybe i needed to try a lower transaction.

Knowing i have funds in my bank account I tried again for 150$. Again I got the general error message.

I tried a 3rd time and this time for 120$. That failed to with general error message.

I then logged on to my bank, and I see that I have been charged all 3 times including the entropay fees.

But my entropay account is still empty. And I was only supposed to deposit once.

So where the heck is my money?

I sent a mail to the entropay help desk one hour ago, but they have not given me any replies.

Now im frustrated because I originally wanted to use 150 and now Im charged 370$ + fees( around 20 for 3 deposits) and the money are gone!

What do I have to do now?

Chargeback is entering my head if this is not resolved within reasonable time.
    How long should I wait?

    Hi there spirit.

I'm sorry you had a bad experience with entropay.
I use them too, and I've never had this problem.

Of course hindsight is 20-20, but still it's always a good idea to check your bank account after failed transactions, before trying again.

I hope they get back to you soon, they've always responded to my questions in a timely manner.

I see one of two things happening

1: They will credit the deposits to your account manually.

2: The transactions were not finalized on their end, meaning the reserved amounts on you card will fall off in a couple of days.

I don't recommend you do a charge-back. I'm sure you'll be banned from Entropay, and who knows who they share that kind of information with.

    HÃ¥per det ordner seg snart!

Chargeback is a last resort thing. Im aware of that.

Anyways I waited, and got the same respond as you did. The transactions didnt complete, and my funds will return to my bankaccount. How long it will take depends on the bank.

    Takk for svaret

If it wasn't for them charging you their fees, I would say for sure that they'll drop off.

But....are these charges in a pending state? If so, they may still drop off in a few days. I'd call your bank and see if that might be the case...it's possible that they only preauthorized the funds. Not too long ago I had paid for some stuff online, and even though the transaction was declined, the funds were on hold for 5 days before they were finally released. The money was in fact in my account, but they told me that there was some sort of network error between the merchant and my bank when they had tried to put the charge through.
Operators: If you don't know what Transparency means, then here you go.....now how about practicing it?

Transparency, as used in the humanities and in a social context more generally, implies openness, communication, and accountability. It is a metaphorical extension of the meaning a "transparent" object is one that can be seen through. ...
