If it were a buy-in tourney I believe it would be unfair if some were to lose their placings because there was extra time given for completion of features/free spins. However, with free tourneys, thought could be given for a time extension to accomodate the free spins/features although I am unsure how they are gonna work it out when 100 spins or a series of retriggers come out. This could delay the time a tourney ends by quite a number of minutes.

Just curious, has anyone hit a RJ during a RTG tourney?
I've hit several at Club World.

It's not like it really matters because it's the same for everyone. What I don't understand is why they need such a strict time limit to start with, there is already a set amount of coins to play. Most tournies I've seen run for several hours anyway, and of course the end time of the tourney should be the end no matter what, but why not give players a lot more time to use up their coins as long as the tourney hasn't ended?

So the majority believes it is ok to lose the bonus round and the free spin that is in action when the time runs out. Fair enough...I do not...

Hopefully others are not caught out in this scenerio...because paying to play, and not one bonus in sight till the very end, and then the slowness of the spins has a lot to be desired, and as you can see ...I still had a huge balance that I could not use because of the slow spins during the partial free spins..

I wish they would at least put the stop button back...this would help alleviate the loss of time....and allow you to use the credits given to play the tourney.

Slow spinning, do they have the Turbo option for the tourneys? Now this would make it interesting if the turbo is available as in regular play.

I played my first RTG tournament at Rushmore. (The free roll Loose Caboose. One hundred $100 dollar spins.) I thought I did pretty good with almost 15k. I had 16 free spins with a 3x multiplier. I've never seen more than 5 free spins in that game in my life.

2 hours into the tournament the leader has about 75k and I'm pretty much out of sight. That would be like playing dollar spins and winning $750 in ten minutes. Loose Caboose doesn't pay that well.

I get the feeling that these are pretty much the same as the MG tournaments. I played a couple of those and the top scores were so high they didn't even make sense to me.

After seeing this I don't think I'd pay to play one of these.

What is the point of putting such a tight time limit on a player's spins, anyway?

    Just another dumbass RTG move!

Open any program using Windows Media player and the spins will automatically speed up. Dont ask me why though. An alternative would be to upgrade to IE8.

This is an old trick that I have done many times but it will not work when you hit 2 cabooses and it slows for that third one..this is the area I get angry over...during free spins especially. What a time waster!
