Enzo: Xanax for everyone ! on the house !
Forget the Xanax for me, I already take it...but I wouldn't be adverse to a free spin or two.....just thought I would toss this in here
Some of the bugs that surface for some people only are hard to impossible to reproduce in labo conditions and it can take some time before we can hunt them down
I can relate to this very strongly..I was asked to fix a computer that kept locking up on the welcome screen in Vista..so I wiped it clean and reinstalled their Vista on this computer (clean install) 6 times because it continued to lock up even on the clean install every time and it took 6 times to find out that the preinstalled google software locked up the OS as it loaded in the welcome screen..boy was I ticked....so I installed another clean version of Vista without it and bam..a very nice , clean OS without a hangup..

The worst thing anyone can have are these things on their computer IMO..
    1. McAfee
    2.Google
    3.Norton
    4. Any toolbars
    5. Facebook add ons
    6. Google add ons
    7. IE8

I have run my old computer from 2004 (just updated the memory) and it has held up well with these items without issues on gaming, casinos etc.

    1. AVG Free (one of the best )
    2. Advanced System Care
    3. Windows defender (which I actually stopped using because it gave me a problem twice)

That is all I have running on mine....the reason is, if viruses and trojans are determined to be installed or computer hijacked, nothing will stop it...I learned this thousands of dollars later...

So...hopefully this helped some fix their issues

One more thing...go to run-msconfig.exe and make sure you have nothing running that doesn't need to be, such as adobe updates etc..those are very resource unfriendly items and sucks up a lot of juice in the backround like traffic ..that you can't see...

I get a lot of crashes too. Support told me to only send one per game.

Almost every time I don't attend to a bonus round the minute it finishes, I have problems. If a tournament ends when the wizard is in the foreground, I crash.

And Slotking, my old desktop ran in compatibility mode, but it is my new netbook with all the crashes, so I don't think that is the trouble.

I'm running Windows XP, I use AVG free, I don't have other system resources in the background, and this happens even if I don't have IE open.

It is not just Skiny having problems. If mailing every bug report will help you solve my troubles, I'll do it Enzo. I know you've worked directly with me before in efforts to solve one player's problems. But if that is the case, please inform your support to not instruct players to just send one per game that crashes.

Please don't instruct people to flash their bios. Done incorrectly can leave your computer unusable.

The problem is not my computer and it's not 1000 other people's computers. The problem is that 3dice doesn't work unless you're running a fairly strict recipe of hardware.

When I had my old nVidia video card I was told that was the problem. I'm now running ATI. Problem isn't solved. Nobody should be running around taking half the software out of their computers and buying new hardware because one program doesn't work.

Specially since most of these problems arose or got worse SINCE THE LAST 3DICE UPDATE.

Does nobody but me see the common link? Whatever you did that's making almost everyone's casino software crash, undo it. You tried to improve the software and you made it worse. Just go back to what you had before. It worked.

That was meant for those that know how. I will now bow out and not give any more suggestions ....

I respect your suggestions and enjoy your posts, whether I agree with them or not. I would rather you did not bow out.

I could have just as easily advised people of the dangers of updating a bios rather than advise you of what to post.

    Carry on.

I realize this is a month after orig post, however I just noticed this thread and felt compelled to post, as I also have immense probs w/3 Dice software. Among other issues, I have the exact same issues as Skinny. I do enjoy the casino, and the games, but the problems that I have w/just trying to make it thru one session of playing make it a not so pleasant experience. I do not believe I have had one session without:
a total lock up of computer,
total lock up of the casino,
error upon achieving the bonus round in any game,
'time-out' error in tournaments when there was plenty of time,
stuck in a loop where I would have to 'park' the game,
    among various other errors.
I also have a very fast, high-end hardware only computer and I always ensure I have latest drivers, less than 25 processes running, no tool bars, etc. I also make it a point to close any other software I may have open b-4 running 3Dice. I've also tried shutting down and restarting b-4 opening the software. IMO, this software has always been buggy. It appears that my set up is similar to Skinny's however I run an NVida card w/1GB ram. Also like Skinny, I have some extremely intensive software that I run (i.e., ACad, 3d Max, other rendering software) and this is the only prog in which I get constant errors, BSODs and headache.
I like your idea for wallpaper Skinny, I see that image constantly. One thing that really pisses me off is that 'continue' button' (frozen only). Never has that worked! The other buttons work on occasion, but more often they do not than do work. If my computer does not totally lock up or BSOD, I do a print screen and sent the shot to CS. They always respond quickly, but I have often been shorted because of errors involving the bonus rounds. I stopped even reporting the shorts mainly because it has only happened in free tournaments and it seems nothing can be done about it anyway.
Again, I really like this casino, and I do hope that they can eventually get it right.

Many of these problems seems to have been solved. The software still times out but I rarely lock up the casino now. I just click the green box and carry on.

And my name has one N.
