No uninstall PISSES me off!

Most people I think expect an uninstall option in the start menu. Granted as far as I know all RTG casinos have a habit of not adding this to their start menu folder. At a guess it would be damn frustrating for people who are not PC savvy.

However if one goes to Control Panel >> Add Remove Programs the uninstall can usually be located there.

If it's not there and is not in the main casino folder normally located at: C:\Program Files\CasinoName

Then you have to do everything manually as chayton has done. Either way it's a pain in the backside.

The other thing that p#sses me to no end is casinos/poker rooms that add their link to my IE status bar & or other places on my start menu. Adding an option to the install extra links is good manners. Adding it without my consent is rude and always earns an uninstall.

I don't know about TREZZ, but I have an RTG I would like to uninstall, and when I go to control panel add/remove I get a message that its already deleted Big joke
There has to be an easier way than the one suggested here. Maybe the operator of this very popular casino here can make a fix so we don't have to start mentioning names I am sure this "procedure" or rather "non procedure" was deliberate

If you get the message that the software has 'Aready been deleted' then I believe this means it is no longer in the registry, so you can simply delete the files and be clear of the software.

Uninstallers should come with any and all software, although if the software enters itself into the PC's registry then the Windows Add/Remove Progs will do just as good a job

There are third (3'rd) party programs that offer a install monitor as such. They track all files added. When & if you want to uninstall a proggy you use this instead of the generic uninstaller.

and such you may find some freeware products

Really though people shouldn't have to go to such lengths when installing programs - casinos; poker rooms or anything else. IMHO any program that doesn't provide an uninstaller is dodgy.

Actually there were 3 - one was RTG, one was Playtech, and one was uhhh I don't know remember what their software is called, but the casino was Mandarin Palace - that was the biggest pain.

I have a TON of stuff on my computer and the Windoze Add/Remove sometimes takes forever to populate, so I have an alternate uninstall program that I use usually. I have a "casino" directory that I usually install into (if they ask) and it goes in Program Files if they don't ask.

Two of the casinos weren't that much of a pain even though they didn't show up in my uninstall, the one casino in particular that prompted this post (Mandarin Palace) installed into my User\Local Settings\Application Data\something\something else\whatever the software is called\Mandarin palace etc... I had a hell of a time just FINDING it!

(lol - actually I wasted a bunch of time looking then I was like DUH and found the path from the casino icon. )

But it seemed shady to me that they're hiding it like that...more like a virus than a reputable casino. Not that they ARE a reputable casino!

Sometimes it NEVER makes it, not even after an HOUR. This is a BACKWARD step, since in good ol' Windows 98 you click on add/remove, and the list is almost immediate - even on a far slower machine.
