I don't use anything, but I'm special I use Firefox exclusively, so there's no worries about getting anything from IE's numerous holes. Other than that, I keep XP updated and am careful about what sites I visit and what I download. I've had 1 virus in roughly 15 years, and even that was over a decade ago.

But anyways, AVG has a good free AV program, IMO...http://free.avg.com/

    Good luck

    Hushda -

AVG is good, as winbig says. I used it for quite some time but had to dump it when I changed to the beta Windows 7 OS since it has some minor conflicts. If for some reason that doesn't work for you, you can try Avast.

Mouche - I hope you didn't click on the link. And if you did, I hope you didn't enter any information.

Warning to all - NEVER click on a link in an email that isn't clearly from someplace you expect. These phishing emails are commonplace and typically purport to come from banks and payment processors such as Neteller and Moneybookers.

NEVER ever enter your password on a financial site unless the link is a secure link (https://) and is the usual site where you handle your financial transactions.

I've bought the top virus programs, tried many free ones but haven't found one that I like any better than Avast. It's easy to use, very accurate with rare false positives, and the free version (Home Edition) has been as reliable as the commercial version that can be purchased. As you said, Spearmaster, it is a good alternative for those who may be having a problem with their current virus scanner.

Most likely a false positive, as many casino files can cause anti-virus software to falsely detect malware.

The next step would be to check out Casino Bellini to ensure it is indeed a proper casino, and not a rogue. There have been a small number of cases of casino operators found to have included malware with their product, but their aim has been to attack the competition, not to steal customers' details.

You should ensure that EVERYTHING connected into your Moneybookers account has been cancelled, or otherwise blocked. You can then work out whether you have had any money stolen, and if you have, try to recover it through your bank, since Moneybookers don't seem interested.

Did you change your passwords before or after you cleared your laptop? If before, I'd suggest changing them again just in case

What did you do to clear your computer?
