How low are neteller stooping now?

Has anyone else had one of these?

You provided us your bank information. However, your bank BIC Code is not connected to the Swift network so we are unable to wire the funds to your bank account. We do need you to provide another bank account.
Now that there is no neteller card, I wanted to refund to my bank account, so sent them details with my SWIFT code, and got the above. This bank is one of the major banks in the area, it is unthinkable that they would not be able to receive transfers by SWIFT. I have received transfers via SWIFT at this bank before. A friend of mine has an account at the same bank, send the same SWIFT code to neteller and received a refund to his bank account a couple of weeks ago, so it is possible, Neteller have been making SWIFT transfers to this bank recently.

I know this sounds paranoid, but has anyone else received one of these BS emails from neteller to avoid them having to make a payment?

Operators: If you don't know what Transparency means, then here you go.....now how about practicing it?

Transparency, as used in the humanities and in a social context more generally, implies openness, communication, and accountability. It is a metaphorical extension of the meaning a "transparent" object is one that can be seen through. ...
