Question Lucky Coin uninstall issue

I got a free chip for my B-day a few months back. And figured what the hell. So I downloaded the Lucky Coin Casino Real Time Gaming software. I played the free chip and lost. Which i figured i would, lol Wagering Requirements were insane anyway, lol But now when I go to uninstall the software it always says something about path not found? I have tried downloading the software again and then uninstalling it, but the same line pops up? can anybody offer any help?

Yes Casinomeister I see the they are no good and on your rogued list I promise it was just for fun and I did not expect to be paid

Crap programming, the installer has probably entered the wrong install path into the registry, however it may be possible to find the uninstaller it should have pointed to in the casino folder. You can then directly execute this, and with luck it should work.

Lucky Coin is a "Oliver Curran" clip joint. They STILL claim to be "safebet certified".

RTG software, but this lot probably tweak the installer so that you cannot uninstall. The trick with these RTG casinos is that they attempt to place themselves in the root folder of the system or "C" drive, and not in "Program Files" as one might expect. RTG installers do allow you to select an alternative install path, but they then leave "a mess" behind because of the part they downloaded before you changed the uninstall path.

The "casino folder" will be either in the root directory of the system drive, or in the program files folder. The name of the folder will very likely be "luckycoincasino" or something very similar.

I have checked my copy of Club World (same software), and it does not seem to have it's own uninstaller. It must therefore rely on Windows "add/remove programs" to manage the uninstall. There will have to be a valid install path and a log file for this to work, and this looks to be the problem with Lucky Coin.

Short of installing Lucky Coin and investigating, all I can suggest is to delete the casino program folder, and then clean the registry of the associated RTG key(s) - don't expect this to be simple! I would have to start from basics myself if faced with this.

If you have XP, try looking for a restore point predating installation of this joint that you are prepared to go back to.
One possible trick might be to install Lucky Coin again, in the hope that the new installation will fix the old. This happens with Microgaming, but I have never tested RTG to anything like the degree I have Microgaming.
I cannot play at Lucky Coin, because a while ago I told then "Warren Cloud" to lock my Crystal Palace account and quit sending those ridiculous offers. I requested the lock so that his own terms would prevent me from ever playing at ANY of his casinos again.
I only ever played once, and with one of the "try this new slot" free chips. None of my own money was hurt in the research

Thumbs up :-)

I downloaded it again and tried the add and Remove Program with my Windows XP but no such luck :-( I didn't see any folder named Lucky Coin Casino or anything near it??? I will just delete the Folder from my Start Menu into all programs and then banish the Casino Folder to the recycle Bin!!! Hopefully that does the job. Any other advice you feel like sharing send away, Thanks for all your input in the mean time though. Much appreciated

After you've removed the lucky coin folder from start up menu, go to "my computer", then to your hard drive, find lucky coin folder, delete it and go to add/remove programs and remove the lucky coin entry from there...

Yup, that's the way to do it. I have yet to find any RTG casino that successfully uninstalls - they all give that same error message (path not found). The only way to uninstall them is to delete the folder from Program Files, and then try to uninstall it from Add/Remove and click Yes to the prompt that asks you if you want to remove it from the list of installed programs.
